    Whats the go with these serial numbers? Are the unique to each car/sequential or somewhat make / model specfic? (and yes I see at least 2x members have the same number). Does this mean they could both use the same software or tune (assuming same setup)?

    The serial numbers are the ECU part number. It pretty much says if your ECU is manual, auto, TT, NA and year.

    I don't need them in this thread, if you have PM'd them to me then it's fine :)

    You can rip the current tune from the ECU and send it to me and I will get Matt to put that on your board as the base tune. Or you can use the auto tune without too many dramas. Idle ignition timing is higher that is all, you can get it changed when you get it tuned.

    My ecu isnt the original from my car..its the one karl exchanged with me with his socket and tune...Is this an issue?

    Nope, that isn't a issue at all. Just rip the tune on it now and you can put it back on when you install the Nistune board.

    Send me the numbers off the ECU and it will be sweet :D

    I've paid but still haven't provided u with serial number. I can tell u it's a 90 model manual tt though... If you'd preffer I'll get u the number, just had no te so far since I got the car back yesterday...
