yeah there not even cut or carpetted yet ?

Or if custom is coming down for the NATS.. ill try to fit them in the car so he can have a look etc.. maybe pull appart and trace a template too ?

 

Update - almost there, running later than expected due to long weekend / family commitments - will have it completed - carpeted & ported by next weekend & post up more pics.

I made a pair of boxes to go on either side of the boot too over the weekend.
Not as perfectly fitted and curved as CUSTOMTT's boxes, and mine was made for a slim sub, and an amp on the other side.


Well now one is going to be used for a rear mounted battery box and the other probably a tool/parts box of some sort...

 

Trust me guys, I wanna have these finished, scrutinized & ready for sale just as much & quickly as all of you.

But I gotta take care of the cars needs first & am still waiting for my mechanic to get the job finished - shouldn't be much longer now.

Will update as soon as there's progress.

Would you mind posting up the templates you used mate? I wanna do something simmilar, however up against the back seats of my 2+2.

EG; Hugging the rear of the back seats, and both towers.

I might have something for you. I took out that stoopid stereo last year and gave lots of the stuff to Billy (aazn) and Linden (another mate of mine who owned a yellow 300zx. Linden got the sub enclosure that hugged my back seat. He's since sold the Zed to buy a Holden Rodeo and gave me back the sub box last weekend. You can copy it if you like.

I know it's taken waaay longer than the 2 weeks I had initially predicted, but I'm 90% there - just gotta actually fit em into the car this weekend & see how they fit - they're at my mates house atm who helped me build em (ex carpenter)
update:

 

They look heaps good - id pay hundreds for a set for the 2+0

 

I might have to get a Sydney member with a 2 seater & see how much difference there is then.
Also gonna make a trap door to access the spare tyre easily & a frame that the actual sub enclosures bolt onto - so it'll be one solid piece that fit's nice & snug & you won't get defected for unsecured subs.
Will also carpet the surrounds & centre - only thing is, we might have to move the jack etc out of it's usual compartment & place it in a bag or something.
Will see what we come up with this weekend.

 

I don't have a pump for my space saver either way - i have roadside assistance, and a truckkload of luck!!

definitely sounds like a good setup tho - relieve some space in the centre of my boot by adding a second sub

 

Finally got around to seeing how they fit in the actual car.
They fit & look very snug.
Alot of trial & error to make em perfect though.
Anyways we think we're gonna go for a much simpler design, identical to the corner ones posted on the 1st page - only down side is we can only use 8" subs as opposed to the 10's which these ones are designed for & we will be doing only the coners.
We'll commence on the corner ones shortly, but can make & supply the current ones pictured if there's demand.

will these fit in 2seater? or if you can make two that fit in i ll take them

 

wow this is good.... so when you taking order??? i want one please.....

 

can i make one SMALL adjustment ?
perhaps slightly angle the top lid, reduce the inner side so you can make them thinner slightly and still fit the targa roof in the boot ?
just a idea ?

i know you 2+2 guys have a back seat..
but if you want i put mine up on facebook for a 2+0 that i have not carpeted yet which fit the roof in fine
