Rob: How many starters do you have for this event?
[Definition of "starters" is Z cars that intend running on the strip].

What are the rules on sharing helmets, I only have 2 and 3 of us are going (hopfully)... the 3rd person is on a bike.
And when are we meeting up or just get there separately?

You can share a helmet but if there person is back from there run you cannot leave the staging lane. Could miss some passes

    Meeting

Hi guys, just with regards to meeting up. I feel that past events have been somewhat hampered by attempts to cater for multiple meeting points, so the official line is going to be meet at Sydney Dragway from 9am. Mention that you are with AUS300 when you approach scrutineering and they will direct you to our lane.

With regards to wet weather etc, the best thing to do is to like and follow Sydney dragway on facebook https://www.facebook.com/SydneyDragway?fref=ts -if the event has to be cancelled for any reason you will hear it there first.

Sydney dragway have also setup their own facebook event here https://www.facebook.com/events/243172289208157/?fref=ts that anyone can join. If you are planning to come along I'd suggest you join so as to stay up to date with all the relevant information.

Anyone need a ride to the venue?

If anyone needs a ride, yell out as I have a couple of spare seats available.
I am happy to pickup from around Carlingford area. Shane??

I am aiming to be at WSID at 9am - So, pick up time will depend on where you are. I will be there most of the day or until the last Z runs etc. (So, might not be a good option if you need to leave earlier)

    Cheers
    Chris

I'm planning on leaving home around 6:00-6:15 so I should be at the gate by 8:30 if the traffic is okay.

My check list is pretty much-
    helmet
    long sleeve shirt
    pants
    shoes
    Check fluids
    Tyre pressures
    Clean interior (lose items)
Check battery is clamped tight as they always check it
Bit of food/drink because its pretty expensive there

And of course some badass racing music.

Car is all fixed now so I'll be there (minus 40 kw - was pinging so lost a heap of timing, now down to a much normal for stock turbos 232 rwkw). I won't give the faster cars a run for their money anymore but guess I'll still go.

Yes it is still on. It is not going to rain here in Sydney tomorrow (weather forecasting a day in advance is pretty good now). We did have a brief shower here in Sydney as was predicted.

And even if it did it would be no more than a brief shower not enough to kill the whole day.
