If Zeo's in and everyone else is attending who has poked their head up in this thread, we have ~10-11 people!! :D

Is this park over near rostrever?

Google maps please? One of the searches i performed brought up a dirt track in the middle of the park...i presume this isnt where you all are thinking.

Amanda and I will be there.

I should be able to make this one as well. Look forward to catching up.

Why not sort a route out before deciding on a place for a BBQ? That way we can choose somewhere suitable for everyone.

I'll suggest a route to get us started.....

Meet at the car park on the corner of Victor Harbour and Main South Rd at say 10.30am. The Northerners (me included) could meet at Maccas Enfield or similar around 9.15 and leave at 9.45 at the latest to meet up with the rest of you.
Take the Victor Harbour Rd past Mount Compass and turn left on the road to Goolwa. At the end turn right to Goolwa and go to Liverpool Drive. Liverpool Drive is on the river front and as there are no houses on the river side, there is plenty of space to park and take photos with the river in the background. Take the road along the ocean to Victor Harbour and drive up to Endeavour Hills to admire the view. Go back through Victor Harbour and take the Strathalbyn Rd from Middleton. Go through Strathalbyn and take the Angus River Scenic Route through Stirling and jump onto the freeway for the run back to Adelaide.

Surely there will be somewhere along that route that will have bbq facilities. I know a few locals down Victor way that I can ask for suggestions during the week.

    Cheers,
    Dave

I think that around the Stirling exit the freeway speed limit is only 100kph anyway so you should be fine

Comments like that posted on here are the reason I haven't been to any cruises yet. All you're doing by posting crap like that is attracting attention from the boys in blue.

sounds like a pretty good itinerary there ozphoto. definitely a diverse coarse to get everyone involved. and the petrol companies.

more suggestions like that are welcomed. would rather a plan for the day, rather then just a circus.
