Howdy guys im keen for the cruise be my first 300 cruise since buying mine been hanging for one. Zed need a bit of work so wont look the best, needs new front bumper and has dent in tailgate hopefully will be fixed by then if i can find another bar cheap enough. but ill be there.
Once I get my 2000 spec bar we might be able to work something out with my old one, it's red, but hey still good Gonna be good to meet a few members I have yet to meet too!!! 1 month to go, 1 month to go!!
cool cool sounds good, yeah im keen to meet some other zeders and see whats out there 300zx's are my dream car cant get enough of them mines auto but meh i just love the car and it does what i want it to do. roll on next month =)
Andrews Farm, ah so thats why you see Amandas car all the time. Was telling her about it and we assumed it must have just been in pics or something. Works sort of in the area, so thats why its seen so much. As for the place, how about somewhere down near the Torrens? Lol, just got told a small horror story about using those communal BBQ's in parks. Bloke i work with here was telling me that one time they went to go use it...and found a nugget on it...turned him away from using them...food for thought i guess.
Wow don't keep up to date on a thread and you miss out on heaps, so BBQ followed by photo shoot and cruise. I'll have a look around and see what location i can find that'll suit everyone.
Yeh that is where I usually see it, I drive between Andrews Farm and Salisbury past where she works. I have a portable bbq that I normally take with me when going to one of these places, just in case.
Damn, I changed my front bar over this week, and the panel beaters asked me whether I wanted the old one back, I said no so they were going to cut it up and throw it out. You could have had that if I had known, sorry man. I was in fairly good nick, except the bottom was scraped and cracked. It could have been repaired but I had a spare one sitting around so I had that fitted instead.
You dont have a red zed do you? Amanda has mentioned that she sees' a red one every so often and its parked not far away from her work. And good idea with the porta bbq. was thinking about my 4 burner, but boot wont be big enough. unless i bring the turbo dato:biggrin:
ahh devo thats cool you were not to know, thanks anyway much appreciated! =) i got quoted like $1200.00 to fix mine i havent worried about it cos i could prob get another one for that price or less. maybe aftermarket front bar? how many people are possibly going to be on this cruise from what we know?
400...pfft if only there was tht many stylish people in adelaide...to own 300zxs that is. hit tom up for his front bar. he had one FS a while ago, but that may have moved on now. but get him to pull his thumb and get the 2K jobbie on. offer him a 4 pack of breezers and he'll be over it like a butterfly...aint that right tom? haha edit? possibly a really long off shot. but i thought i recalled Ant from eudunda, had one sitting on his shed wall...as hes got a VS unit installed? being hes selling up, maybe worth the inquiry.

So Chris, I hear that you... ahh not worth it.. Yeah silverZ picked up my old silver front bar a few months ago. It'd be nice if there were more zedders in Adelaide though, seems not many are cool enough though Ahh well. As I said, I've got a 2k spec bar sitting in my shed at the moment, along with some stillen side skirts, hence my interest in that SA paint shop thread Chris My cousin knows a guy who works for/owns a paint shop n said he cld do a full respray for ~$3,000, not sure what that includes with regards to how far it's rubbed back and all that, but yeah. Hopefully that will work out good
There are actually quite a few zed owners in adelaide... I regularly see them, obviously not as many as there are skyline owners etc... but that is because we have more taste. I got a pair of veilside 2+2 sides and rear bar sitting in the garage... was going to put them on the next zed, but have decided to go a diff path...

Whilest I do totally agree with you there, I also have the C1 fitted to my car now. I will be changing that early in the new year.
you were saying tom....? heh. I think we shall have to get these fliers in circulation. As this is truely the only way we can pull the numbers that the interstaters have. Just hope it doesnt draw down right wankers.. I think google earth needs to be hit so to work out a meeting point for lunch and what not.
