What a shame to let it go. Little turtle travels in mine really well, not sure how young yours are; and not sure yet if a capsule fits in there but.... if we ever have another one i'll definitely give it a go lol :)i wouldnt part with the zed, thats what the work car is for i guess.

It looks to be a very neat looking zed on the outside. Where were you back in february when i was looking for one in this colour??? lol

Turtle...kids are 7 & 9...they've loved the car too...but are now complaining about room and no view in the back LOL
Wife says if she's wins the 50 mil lotto tonite I can keep it ;)
Only listed the car a week ago...I'm in no rush to sell, but for practicality and the kids i have to go the family friendly car or ute...

Don't know why the k's were removed...but they are at 63,8** now.

We bought it straight after it was imported, I just checked the origanal sale contract... it was at 34,315 when we got it (I thought it was around 40,000 or so).

ive got 8 year old twin boys who happily (most of the time) go in the back dude.
The day they complain will be the day I happily rip out the back seat to save some weight :D, throw in a roll cage and stretch the boot :D

Just buy another car dude. Zeds aren't worth selling, coz... they aren't worth anything. Therefore, the best thing you can do financially is keep it (thus not making a "loss") and buy a family bunky like an Excel.

Your "reason for sale" is weak ;) :zlove:

you are aware the back seat weighs 4kg total right, i'm sure you could lose more running around the block and taking a big dump lol

I have to sell, it's a combination of things...it's the kids getting bigger (I have to take mine to school every day), the cost of fuel, and we've just moved, and I can't garage her at the moment.

    Reluctant...but firm...have to sell...

    very nice :)

Wow i love it :) . only thing that puts me off is auto :( LOL but im fussy :p.

I noticed in ur pic that you have the one exhaust rather then the twin ?

have you had any exhaust work done yourself or did the car come like that ?

We bought it as is from an importer. I haven't had time or money to do anything, so it's pretty much stock except for replacing things that needed fixing. It is twin turbo, but one exhaust.

Hey Dude - I may be interested - am looking to get back into a Z after my beloved black beast was kidnapped and murdered earlier this year.
Is there anything at all that needs "doing" / "attention" that you are aware of?
    Ever been any overheating issues?
Any idea of how much to convert from single to dual exhaust?
I'll give you a call on mobile.
Can you get it down to Brisbane for me to have a good look at - if it's as tight as you describe I'll firm up a chunky deposit on the spot.
    Thanks,
    Tsunetomo

Due to some interest from Brisbane direction, we are considering a run
"down the hill" (I'm in Toowoomba) one weekend soon.
If anyone's interested in checking it out, I am open to meeting up
somewhere (but don't want to be driving ALL over Bris, so one easy
    to find location if possible).
I just have to check my work roster and see when I have a weekend free.
So any interest, let me know... rhedyn17@hotmail.com

Timing belt and pulleys (full kit) replaced today.
Front bar cracked on one side when towed on Friday

Will be coming to Bris on Thursday. Z may be checked by Zed4Life (ZedCare),
if he has the time. Otherwise I'm considering just trading her in.

    $8500

Great to hear you've repaired the timing

    belt and gear.

When I spoke to your wife that day it seemed that the mechanic confirmed bent valves resulting from the belt failure. Looks like that wasn't the case juding by the quick time period it took to fix the problem.

On behalf of the buyer I was previously inspecting it for, could I ask what parts were changed in the 100K service and the total cost (parts&labour)?

    thanks
    mark
