Since you have your car pulled down so much you might want to pull the dash and pull out the rest of the air con/ sound deadening

 

yeah thats next on the cards gazza. removed it all from under the seats, so times to pull the dash and get it all out.

 

the meisters and coilovers went back on today as well as the camber arms!
the rear is LOWWWW ! front, sits higher, but with the engine in, will dump it to an average height of 30mm all round.

pics up later today PM or post and i may make a new thread when i get the engine in to show the fitment haha.

wheel specs :

18x 9" +5 (225/35/18)
18x 10" +4 (245/40/18)

so add tein HR coilovers.



and some adjustable camber arms.



added the front wheels, and then lowered to set the desired camber.





then, you struggle to even get the jack under the diff. :rofl:



combination with low + 14kg springs + meisters.









so heres how she sits (mind you without an engine)








so atm, shes nearly there, few more pieces on the engine and were good to go for start, full strip of interior, cage etc next few more pics for the lols.

been following your build threads long before i joined the forums. You kinda were the last straw in me actually going out and getting one sooner rather than later. I did a lot of financial twists but im sweet now. anyways...

Haha mines only been up for a month or so and iv done next to nothing. I like keeping it well documented though and left aligned with headings, makes it real easy to browse through. Just got a new sig pic too, kinda half stole it half modified it abit..matte black it up.

I always wanted to do something a bit different, whenever i tell the old man my plans hes goes off his chops a bit then ends up helping me haha. Although he hasn't done any vinyling

Unrelated:
you know how you get epic nostalgia from something in your childhood. Well we had a gunmetal grey 180sx in the family, thought it was the bomb and ur car on day 1 reminded me of it. Then reading through all your trials and tribulations up until now, i even get excited over smoked indicators....

yeah only a few months, but i was up there with one of the first post in the thread. i <3 satin black haha.

i wish my thread was like that, but eh! you have built up, more or less a one of a kind zed. no one (as far as i know) a soon to be complete vinyl wrapped zed. thats something i'd be proud of.

so that 180 im guessing is gone? will be weird, you know in like 30 years time, your kids will be saying that about your zed, when they build their cars, its great i reckon.

I want these wheels so bad, but with a little more positive offset on the rear as I'd like to run the rears dead square.
