i have found a few, but all the semi decent ones are 2 seaters otherwise auto 2+2, or man 2+2's that arnt the colour i want, i no it seems piccy, but id rather get the colour i want and not regret anything. also instead of buyying one, wat bout buyying a not running one and get an engine rebuild or really to expensive?
Well im in pretty much exactly the same boat as you, although i dont care about seats... but yeah i want a good nic black manual, proving hard to find one that fits the bill lol....
yea thats it lol, ahh sucks lol, i remeber a few months ago when i was just looking acuse i was bored there was heaps, now nothing! all red ones or auto 4 seats lol BLACK OR SILVER!
why would you buy another N/A when he gets off his P's in a few months. get it checked out, if its all good then grab it and only drive it around the block till your on your full licence, save up a couple hundred and buy an old rolla or something and spend all your money on the zed...
Yep same up here lol... i stupidly let two perfect cars go earlier in the year due to cash issues theres nothing really GOOD around, most of em are all sorta meh..
That's what I'm doing.. sorta.. I've got a bit left on my P's. I'm buying a zed but not driving it. I'll be working on the car, building it up etc. and will get my friends to drive it for me. I might have a spin in an empty car park or something but certainly won't be driving it daily. I'll be keeping my MR2 as a daily until I get off my P's. If I bought an N/A zed I would pump all my cash into it and then sell it and buy a TT anyway... completely pointless. I've got the "modding bug" so it's best that I pump my cash into a TT and create it into something that I'll be able to enjoy for many years to come.
Obviously I wouldn't let just any of my friends drive it I help run a car club with a few guys. They're a fair bit older than me and true car enthusiasts. Very good drivers and very trustworthy They are the only people I would trust to drive my car.
well its not flawed, because if he wasn't insured he'd have to foot the bill, just because you aren't in your car and it causes damage to property, doesn't mean you aren't liable. if that was the case everyone would say "oh I jumped out of my car before it hit the other car officer"
Sorry ZEX300, I thought you meant that he WAS insured but it would be void due to him being on P plates. If a P-plater is behind the wheel of a TT and crashes into a building causing $100k damage, they're screwed, whether they're insured or not. It is void. If a P-plater leaves their car and it gets vandalised, stolen or if it rolled into a house and damaged it, they are covered. Only because they were not driving the car at the time. It is not illegal for a P-plater to own a turbo vehicle. I will be doing so. I just won't be driving it until I have my full license.
