[WA] What happens if i got AUTO license and get pulled over driving MANUAL?

I don't understand this rule. Has anyone died from having a collision with someone driving a manual on an auto licence. When i was younger my sister got her P's 6 months before me but i got off mine 6 months before her due to her P's being for 3 years then when i went for mine they where 2 years . years ago you needed a manual licence in Victoria then they relised it was stupid and changed it ( i did mine in a auto but can drive any ) . Now some bright spark in goverment decided you are a public danger w.t.f

in short, the consequences for driving a manual while on an auto license greatly outweigh the little bit of time and money to upgrade to the manual license.

 

Meh i dont think its such a bad thing, the NSW scheme anyway. If you do your p's test in an auto you can only drive auto till you get your greens then can drive whatever.

 

thats funny, im thinking.. what if i lived in NSW and had my license there, then moved to Perth, what would i be granted, manual or auto? lolz..

In NSW tou can book a test online website and pick the rta suburb should easily be able to book a 7.05 am spot and pls just get third party and fire theft ins if nothing else, every accident our family has been in not our fault but its just a matter of time nad then youll cry be fined and loose your licence and then be paying some merc owner for ten years

$100 dollar fine or court summons which is a bigger fine and court costs.

If you do it while on L's which it sounds likem you are since your booking tests, you can get either of the above and driving without an appropriate instructor too.

Also your not ment to be on the road so even if the accident isnt your fault your up for all damages personal and property.

You really run the risk yourself. If you don't get a manual license and get busted, it's essentially your own fault for not sorting it out. But the chances of being caught are very slim. I'm yet to be pulled over in WA, especially considering the noise my car puts out.

 

It's not the offense, it's the mind set that implies it's OK to ignore the legal requirements.
How long before it's used as an excuse for not bothering to have a License at all?
Haven't got time? MAKE TIME, or catch a bus(of course, there's always the "unthinkable", drive an automatic!)
