NSW Saturday July 13th Sydney Dyno Day and sale @ UAS

    It's been too long since we did one of these....

    UAS will be throwing the doors open on Saturday July 13th for an aus300 dyno day. These have been heaps of fun in the past; a great way to test your car's potential, gauge just how effective that last mod was, and catch up with some locals.

    The day will feature
    • Trophies supplied by UAS
    • Prizes supplied by Penrite oils
    • 10% discount off all floor stock at UAS

    Date: Saturday July 13th
    Venue: Unique Auto Sports, 1/20 Tucks Road, Seven Hills, NSW
    Cost: $50 -pre pay to secure your spot

    I will be doing my best to secure further sponsorship and coverage from HPI or Zoom. We will ensure there are sufficient categories to give everybody a chance at taking home some prizes, but of course it really is the company that makes these events what they are.

    Please register in this thread so as to help us manage the event, in the meantime I'll just leave this here...

    Was just thinking something like this should be organized!
    Ill be in. Who do we transfer deposit to? And what else will be happening on the day? BBQ? Soft drinks?
    Will be good to finally meet some fellow zedders.

    It'll be ok -will have different categories to try and level the field.

    Nah I get it back on the 12th :(

    Can't really run that risk man, if there's an accident then my insurance is then void with someone else driving it. I can't even jump in the drivers seat and claim that it's me either as I'm unlicensed. Was looking forward to beating Nems 120rwkw :p

    You can count procky in for this !! Even though ill most likely be up against rob260/ black beast wiz and similar haha

    Anyone wanna lend me some NOS for the day ?

    Might be coming up for a retune before then JP ;p free up some horses on fat 18's .

    Categories -your ideas please

    Guys I'm throwing the ideas for different categories open to discussion.

    JP has suggested the following;


    • [*]Highest NA Z
      [*]Highest stock turbo Z (no high flows)
      [*]Highest aftermarket turbo Z .
      [*]Maybe a category. The most impressive for what it?s got?
    And made some suggestions

    My suggestions as follows

    • Highest HP NA
    • Highest HP Twin Turbo, standard turbos, bolt on mods allowed
    • Highest HP Twin Turbo, aftermarket turbos (including high flows)
    • Highest HP non Zed

    and two "bonus" prizes for

    • Peoples choice (vote for your fav car on the day)
    • Wooden Spoon

    JP has also suggested some "rules" to even things out a little

    • Limit boost to 23 psi
    • 10% penalty for E85 or race fuel

    So what are your ideas?

    Exhaust, Pod and 8-10psi, if I can put down at least 150rwkw I'll be happy ;p
