    Another update.

Due to FMIC, BOV and tranny oil cooler I've had to relocate my AFM so I can still run a filter.

This should do it :D (obviously the filter is out of site, but its there)

Also fitted my new front and rear strut braces

And here it is in it's current state. Just one pic because I've already posted enough pics of it in other threads including this one. More updates and pic will come when I get some more work done. Like a tune and another dyno.

Current PB 1/4 mile is 12.7 @ 109mph but it can go faster ;)

To me that looks so out of proportion. Its like a big body builder with chicken legs. Car looks very nice otherwise and so does the wheels. Just needs to be BIGGER :p :zlove:

So glad to see that I'm not the only one to do that. I thought it'd be something frowned upon haha.

    Manual Conversion

Today I got started on my car after having to move to Springfield last week.

So far I have removed the plenum, pulled the dash out, Pried the cover plate off the fire wall (for the clutch master cylinder) with a big flat tip and hammer :D, pulled the auto brake pedal, refitted the clutch pedal/boost/master cylinder and manual brake pedal.
So at this stage, I have an auto with 3 pedals. :p
    What a pain that was.
Tomorrow I will get down and dirty, put the car on stand, drop the exhaust and pull the auto box out so it can await it's new owner. Will need to get my hands on a rear main seal before I fit the flywheel and clutch.

    PICS.

It's always handy to have boot space when the garage is limited.

You can get rear mains from Repco pretty cheap, but some people reckon they can chew out the crank and you should only use Nissan.

I use the Repco ones, they're all NSK anyway

Yea you'd be surprised what repco has in stock. They even had the old L motor water pump gaskets in stock.

Yeah but autos limit your fun. ;) Plus I hate them. I've always preferred manual.

    Today's progress.

Exhaust and tail shaft out, skin of knuckles, swearing, ciggy, drink, a few bolts out of the bell housing, more skin off, swear, drink, ciggy, another bolt out, swear, swear some more, last bolt out, pry, jiggle, AUTO OUT! :D Ciggy, curse, kick car, closed garage.

 I hate Z's, and I'm only half way there. Never again!

Notice the modified work on the doors? :p
Now to get this bastard off tomorrow. Does anyone have a spare rear main seal?

After that, I'm on Easy St.

Because going fast in a straight line is boring. The stick man wants to drift. Manual is the only way for him. Nice work there Cam, Auto to Manual conversion (on the ground,no hoists) Is not for the feint hearted. Kudos to you, wanna organise our first drift sessions together?:D
