Well Guys, Its ON everyone made it safely. Infact all the diferent crews arrived within 1/2 hr of each other. I got video of each of the groups as they came into town. Queensland and North NSW crew. Just a couple of pics to start the ball rolling, and heaps more to follow. Just after 45 mins we had Benny_C leggless and on the floor Dude, Wheres my car? Yep I'm spending the day writing about contemporary interpretations of literacy in the NSW Music syllabus... Eats balls!
I thought it was every 2nd year that Zfest was on? Not every year? Just what a forum member told me, could be wrong.
Benny legless ... never seen it yet  That boy can sure put it away. Look forward to seeing more pics asap Graham, and hearing ALL the gossip :zlove::zlove:
Oh you guys missed a good one Just to rub it in more...it is SOOOOOooooo FUN Zedfest is every second year..I reckon it should be yearly :zlove: Craig has taken a MASSIVE amount of photos, so they will probably go up over the week...but till then you'll just have to sit tight..
Tell Karl he's got 2 missed calls from me, one on each of his phones ... he's obviously having too much fun to answer
The main reason Zedfest has been every 2 years is to alternate with the Nissan Datsun Nationals. Those owners who wish to take their Zeds to the track can do so. There has always been a good attendance of Z32s at these Nationals. Next year's Nissan Datsun Nats will be in Victoria, although we cannot yet say which circuit will be the host. We (NDSOC - the organizing club) want Phillip Island, but we have to wait for the track to confirm it will be available for Easter 2013. My Z remains off the road, which is why I'm not at Dubbo. Hope the guys that are there have a ball!
Saturday morning, was a bit of a slow start to a BIG day. The cruise started at 8:30 am, but getting them going was a problem. Zeds littered everywhere, and no owners. Slowly they came to life. We all headed out to Western Plains Zoo, where we had a private parking area to look after our cars. 9:00am, We all piled onto an Air cond coach. The lap of luxury Our guide was a teriffic young fellow who had a great sense of humour, and told us plenty of background history that we otherwise would not have heard. This place is great. An open land environment like a 5 star hotel for animals, with no preditors. Here Kitty, Kitty, opps wrong cat. We had several stops around the zoo to look at the exibits. Lil' Baz and leah frysie and his wife A few more animals. I want to slap some Turbos on this one  Benny_C having some more fun. The real thing' and yes it need turbos. these things move fast 90TTZ and family. Then is was back in our cars and off the Narromine to the aviation Museum We were allowed to park on the grass area for a photo Op More to follow later. Someone else can put up pics of the aviation museum and lunch at the Lime Grove Cafe.
Excellent posts, thank you Graham! I have little electric chills looking at the pics, I can't imagine the thrill it would be to travel in that convoy. Looking forward to more!
