This is strange, I have a 2k in my bedroom. A bar wont fit in a cars boot,on the rear seat, in a large stationwagon only yes, or a ute. But still, for someone to take one off your front property, the 2k size just wont fit in a car easily. Say the truck pulls up, then delivers, what chances does someone drive past and think..."Oooh ,i will take that" What are your next door neighbours like ? Were you targeted with having a known delivery expected ? Escort will be easy to point out for us and I'd say it will stay in Queensland if its sold with being a "Hot" item. Sucks big time mate. It's very unusual that they would leave it without someone being there to sign in person. I live in the country and even offered to put a cabnet in that only i and the courier had a key for and even get a stamp made up with my signature for her ( she had delivered without anyone home for years without a problem ) but she refused due to new company security rules. This happened after 911 so i'm guessing your courier is screwed for delivering without a signature and this is the companys problem for not inforcing it's own policys. Get a copy of their delivery policy's and procedures if you have trouble getting results. Also go for a drive in your area and look in poddocks as it's a big boss for someone to feel comfortable lugging a long way. Normaly if you are not home they just leave a card to ring them and organise delivery. Good luck Dave
thanks for the pics tim! please keep your eyes peeled guys, the only thing that may give the stealer a clue about what car it's for,is the CZP escort packing slip, so may be under a simple 'front bumper', CZP or escort, style heading on eBay/firesport/gumtree. as mentioned this will be very rare, so will stil out like dog balls! zano- where it was supposedly left is pretty secluded but alot of school kids would have seen it, not 10 meters away from the footpath, or even a passing car. this bar isn't small, it would take 2 people to move it, it's light but big, or need a minimum of a station wagon! crazy stuff, and such a kick in the face, so long to get here, all the way from the states to have it stolen so close to home is a killer. just hope as no one signed or authorized, it was the 'drivers discretion' to leave the bar there, is their fault and they replace it.
also tim, the tracking number brings up 'delivered' with a electronic 'proof of delivery' after speaking with UPS they said the driver left it at the door, all the proof is in my hands, this will be fun getting them to pay !

the parcel was delivered at 12:15 and by 2:45 it was gone! post on Facebook was at 11am before it was delivered, saw it was at re melb depo so gathered I'd see it. but the mystery of it all, it was delivered to my other place, not in my normal house so people wouldn't be wise and try n steal it! so either UPS never actually delivered and the driver bullshitted, or the driver left the parcel without concent in negligence and it was stolen! either way UPS have to be at fault. though I'd like to get my hands on the kid that took it.
You sure it was actually delivered to YOUR address ?? Seems they could have delivered it anywhere. Ask other people in the street if they got it by accident.
100% went to my address! asked other people and seems try saw a truck but There is a building being done up the top. no neighbors have seen it regardless, UPS have alot of answering to do! why they left it without a signature etc.
