AB, good to hear! As for accommodation, I might be able to organise something if you can help out with judging on the day (but would mean your car can't be judged). I'll find out.

Jaz, your car is worthy! The Club Display is all about the Club and its cars. Every car doesn't have to be perfect. In fact, a Club display with a range of cars is good, as it shows the general public that all kinds of cars in all kinds of condition are OK for Club membership. Your car is certainly no slouch - especially for a track car

 

Cheers mate. I would like to get the rear bar replaced and sprayed, then I would consider.

I would really like to replace all molds before the event though.

 

Idiot boards for the display.

I have organised for some idiot boards to be made for the display, these are designed to take an A4 sheet of paper so if all those who are attending could do a quick write up on thier car (bullet point works well) and then print and if possible laminate the sheets that would be great. If someone (Mark, I'm thinking of you) would like to maybe do a sheet or two on either the history of the association or the 300ZX that would also be good. Please keep your information brief and the text size big enough so that it can be clearly read from about 1 meter away.

 

Time to put a bit more work into the theme........Beach? Race cars (fake numbers and helmets with race suits)? Car yard?

I think it'll look cool..... have some flags, race suits, helmets etc etc...... now we just need some grid girls

No...

only taking the TT.... Originally the NA was coming up, but I have some people who want to see it just after Renmark and with Mikey going to Perth and Jack not coming straight back to Melb, there would be a delay in getting it back to Melbourne. And that also means I only have to pay for fuel for one car, stress about one car and clean one car... The NA is now in sale mode (super clean). So it will stay in the garage like that for as long as possible (so I dont have to clean it again )...

and yes, I believe we are meeting up Thursday morning for the trek to Renmark. Not sure what time yet. Mikey and Jack are driving up thursday arvo.
