Hi there, my first post here. Ive looking at getting a Zed, I love its look. Ive see a few around, but have never actually sat in one. So im just wondering, im 6'3'' and decently built, would I have trouble being comfortable in a Zed? Thanks for reading.
it also depends greatly on what kind of seats you have, and if you have a targa/slicktop/verte. My head (at 6 foot 1) brushes the roof of a targa with electric seats but in my slicktop with non-electric seats i have gobs of room (even with a helmet).
.. at the chance of being rubbished .. i say lubbish ... !!!! .. 6'1' is relatively shortarsed ... lol... .. stretch weighs in at around 6'9" .. and big Karl is not far behind ... .. search will throw up a little history on the height of things .... ..
oh this thread is mine.. i'm 6 foot 10! and i fit quite well.. when it comes to racing i just remove the targa shade inner and the helmet fits.. alot people laugh when i tell them i own a zed.. but yes tall people fit see piccy..
Obviously height between your bum and your head varies from person to person, but i can tell you, without a doubt, that sitting upright in an electric seat, in a 2+2 targa, my head just scrapes the roof. In my slicktop with non electric seats, I have stacks of extra room. The point I am trying to illustrate is that a blanket 'yes you'll fit' answer is not necessarily right. It will depend on the type of seat and chassis type of the car more than your height. And on that note, how stretch fits in his zed i'll never know
i fit easy at 6'3 but it feels like its ment for some one shorter the rear vision mirror blocks half the windscreen and i dont think the head rests go high enough to work properly in a accident . i wish i had of gotten some lower seats instead of getting mine trimmed in leather.
Off topic but it's even worse for me - When my 7 year old son throws a tantrum he looks almost identical to that kid in Cra-Z-Boy's avatar ! This is Edward, my own crazy boy - In this pic he looks like the avatar kid from a different angle with clothes on. Every time I read Cra-Z-Boy's posts I think of Eddie going off his nut about something.
