just wondering the best way to remove the interior plastic on the actual metal bar. i have been using a stanley knife but the corners are stubborn and are hard to get off. Any ideas?

  2. Heya,

Yep its a pain trying to clean back that bar, I too started off with a Stanley but that didnt last long, as you say the corners are like cemented on. Had better luck using a blowdryer to heat it up and bit by bit peel away. But its still not a quick job by any means. If you search under 'tonneau bar' you'l find a couple other suggestions the guys added to my thread might help.

I did mine couple months ago and she's still sweetaz, good luck with it.
