    Comments:
Very regretful sale, I have owned it for over 7 years, but it's probably time for my baby to go. Life rolls on and a 2 seater sports car just isn't practical any more (and hardly gets driven). It's not an urgent sale and I'm happy to wait for the right buyer to come along... if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it!

It's the best kind of Z out there (IMHO), very hard to find combination of 2 seater, 5 speed, twin turbo with factory leather and cruise control. Looked for this for over 2 years before I found this one, bought it from an older gentleman in QLD who looked after it immaculately too. This is not your run-of-the-mill-imported-under-the-15-year-rule-and-thrashed-out-POS-Z, it is well cared for and maintained example, will suit a real enthusiast who knows the value of a well looked after Z.

It has been very reliable and it's mechanically in great original condition, driven like a nanna most of the time, and thanks to Tassie being such a small place, and it being my second car for most of that time, I've only put roughly 40,000km on it since I've owned it (roughly 5700km a year). Obviously it's an import, so the Ks are suspect, but when I bought it it seemed pretty close to the mark as you'd expect looking at wear and general condition.

Always fastidiously maintained, 100K service done, Amsoil fully synthetic every 5000km in the engine, Redline MT90 in the gearbox.

    Issues:
Oil Pressure gauge faulty (common Z thing, never got round to fixing it).
Minor gutter scuff on LHS rear rim
Minor paint chipping around the edges of the Targa's
Seats showing their age, need a retrim, electric control knobs broken off (still work, just annoying!)

    Exterior:
    Paint in excellent condition
    Genuine 2000spec front bar
    Genuine 2000spec tail lights
    Illuminated rear markers
    Border Vented Bonnet
19" Envy Mk IIIs (one slight gutter scuff on the rear LHS, otherwise in near new condition)
Maxxis MA-Z1 tyres, over 50% tread left
20% tint all round (12 months old)
New window trims and windscreen cowls

    Interior:
    Generally great condition
    Cruise Control
Electric Leather seats (usual bolster wear drivers side, split seam passenger side.. could both use a retrim)
Re-trimmed in biege leather throughout (could also use a little attention in places, have spare matching leather)
Alarm with remote central locking and auto windows up (though drivers side auto up no longer works)
Illuminated 300zx door sills (can't get them any more apparently!)
Auto Gauge Boost and Water Temp pillar mount gauges
Alpine CDA 9856 mp3 head unit and 6 Stacker
    Alpine Type X front speakers
All instrumentation converted to blue/white LED (including pods)
    EDFC for Tein Super Streets

    Mechanical:
Tein Super Streets with EDFC (18 months old)
MBC running 12psi (never been boosted higher)
Kakimoto 2.5" exhaust (sounds and looks very, very nice)
    Apexi Pod Filter
    New QFM HPX Brake Pads
    Brake Master Cylinder Brace
100K service done, new water pump timing/drive belts etc...
    Iridium Spark Plugs
    New coil pack connectors
Engine runs beautifully, quiet and smooth. No smoke or any other issues.

Beautiful Z mate, once I sell the GTR I'll be coming for a looksee ;)

Any pics of the engine bay by chance? And is it just relatively stock in terms of mods and power?

    Cheers!

    Craig

    Yep.

Pretty stock in the engine department, the only mods engine-wise is the MBC. Just lightly boosted to 12psi, never really felt the needs to go any further. Can get some pics of the engine bay, it's bit dirty atm, but it's basically a Z engine!

What a piece of shight, think twice

What a piece of shight, ... Now that I have scared off your potential buyers ...

IMHO unless you are desperate for cash I think you should think twice about selling your car. She looks Mag-Nifi-Cent and is probably one of ... scratch that ... is the most beautiful coloured car on this forum. It looks like you have definitely poured your heart and sole into her and after 7 years of ownership. As you say it is a pretty rare combination. The question is; will you be regretting this decision in a couple of years ... "gee I should never of sold that car". :bash:

Well that is my two cents, good luck with the sale, someone could be picking up a really nice set of wheels here.

Hi Mafi, I'm not looking for a family car atm, sorry. But I'll keep it in mind!
And Steven... I dont think I'll regret it, I love the car and I've had 7 great years to enjoy it, but I might be moving out to dirt road country and it just isn't a practical! But like I said, if it doesnt' sell, maybe it can sit in the garage for a few years till circumstances change again!
