ive heard rumours bout its better to run the 6000K's ina zed as the 8K n 9k are too hot for the zed without running extra relays...

Haha, nah. It's colour temperature not actual temperature. 6000K is about the temperature of the sun :p

Anything much over 6000K is getting into the blue/purple spectrum rather than the white/blueish. 4300 is pretty much white, 6000K is blueish similar to the Chrysler 300C, 9000K is Fast and the Furious spec purple :p

Are these actually H3c?? To fit j-spec models... Coz most are only to fit the H3... which doesnt fit :(

If they definately fit H3C im pretty interested...
And do they fit in just the low beam??

    Thanks

H3 fits when it's a HID. I have them in my zed.

You can convert the standard lights to take H3 halogen's, there is a tech article somewhere.

    Chrispy,
Which HID have you installed into your zed ? Do you have any recommendations for HID kits ?

Can't remember the brand, bought it in a GB from bankids here years ago. As far as I can tell they all come out of the same factory or are made from the same design.

Mine looks exactly the same as the ones that Huggybear has for sale but the ballasts are painted black not silver. For the price you can get them for it's not worth worrying about the quality so much, in the 'old days' a HID kit would cost $1000+.
