Hi Again

Just a quick one, as i am on friends PC.

The car was imported with 89000kms on it as seen in the pic with the service sticker. The guy drove it from ACT to the snow with no radiator coolant and stuffed the motor.
So he brought a half cut motor with 60 000kms on it and then didn't have the funds to finish it. When i brought it it had 91 000kms and now has 99 000kms so the motor has 68000kms and i have all the paper work for the motor.

The car was stock when i brought it, apart for a aftermarket chip. The only things i have done is add a K&N pod filleter, 2 turbosmart BOV's, two cannons, CD/MP3 with ipod dock and usb (still had the tap deck) , clear side blinkers and a few new bits here and there. I did also have the front of the car re-sprayed because the clear a gone funny, so from the doors back a still stock paint and is ok but not as good as the front. it has one dint in the drivers side rear gaurd. It has no rust and is a good soild car to turn into something you want it to be (its a blank canvas)

I did a full service on it when i brought it and i used Motul full synthetic oil ( only the best for the Z's). It is not missing anything bar the rear roll blind which are hard to find now.

I would love to keep it, but my wife said when i was looking for one it had to be a 2+2 because we have 2 kids. But i liked this one because it hadn't been played with and was only 1.5hrs drive away. So anyway i have since brought a boat and need a 4x4 to tow it, so anyone with a Isuzu Mu i would be happy to swap.

forgot! it has targa roof, C/C, climit control, turbo timer, central locking with flick-out key, Alarm and power seats.

What year is the engine that replaced the original one?

 

You wouldn't want a 95 magna V6 would you? Nice car there, if it's still for sale in a couple of weeks I'll come and have a look.

 

On a technical note, your throttle position voltage should be ~.45v at idle.

The gearbox uses this value, as does the ECU for the tune, so it will be having some noticeable effects on how the car drives.

Does the laptop come with it? And what about the minor details in condition? Will it pass roadworthy?

You can have the laptop and data cable/ software for an extra $500 if you want it.
Things that are a bit how-you -going are the seats, as the stiching has let go and i was going to buy new skins off eBay for $350 but never did. The rear spoiler has seen better days (as you can see in the pic's) It has a did in the rear quater pannel. The front of the car has been re-sprayed and the other half is as you would expect a car of this age to be, with the a few minnor chips and scratchis. The over-all condition is good to very good, and has heaps of potential because it is 95% original and not been played with.

An Isuzu Mu is a Holden frontera in Aus, Isuzu only sell trucks here. The isuzu trooper is the holden jackaroo

 

Sorry theres always more questions... Do you think it will pass roadworthy in act? if not what is needed?
Also how are the tyres? All electrics working?

The Izuzu Mu is a import 2.8L turbo diesel and the Holden frontera is 2L petrol opal motor. I am go with the imported Izuzu Mu at least i get 1 turbo

It just passed a pink slip about 8 weeks ago and 14 months had a blue slip (which they are very hard on) I have only done about 7k kms in the 14 months and about 800kms in the larst 8 weeks.
All the tyres are good all the electrics are working, but the drivers side window has just started to play-up so i will try to fix that. The aircon has never worked but i think it may just need re-gasing. I brought a swift in ACT 3 months ago just to fix and sell, and i sold it to my mate and i left the date off the slip so he could keep the 4 months ACT rego.
Do you have a Z in the ACT now? because i seen a red and black one over there on the weekend.
