Used 300ZX Turbos GOOD Condition

I have a pair of used 300ZX turbos is good nick. There is virtually no shaft play and no damage to turbine housing or wheels. Reason for selling is im upgrading while rebuilding my TT engine and have no use for them. Looking for $200 each or $360 for the pair. Prices open to negotiations. Located in Melbourne North. yes i have. hes a good guy and ive bought manyyy things of him, including targa t piece, plastic trim, heater box, full dash, and some more....

 

was the engine running when you bought it BT300zx?

 

The engine was running and had done a head gasket somewhere along the line. I bought this engine from steve at engines plus in cheltenham(i think).it came over from japan im pretty sure after teh guy destroyed his car in an accident. Steve said the only drama was the head gasket but pulling the engine apart its just not adding up to just the head gasket so instead and trying to fix everything and risking it to put into my own 300zx i decided to pull it apart and salvage what i could. so far the turbos and manifolds are all thats good. the block might be fine but ill have to get it checked out and the internals are stock standard with no problems but yeah thats the engine history.

 

hey guys, he is coming over to my place sometime soon so what would u guys like me to check out. im not experienced with checking out turbos so tell me what you want me to do and check...

ill also take pics for yas and upload them...

Check for play in, out, left, right, up and down, seals, oil and water journals (threads ok? water corrosion?), wastegate spring pressure firm and general oil residue around housings or carbon build up. I doubt there will be much of this at all. If all good with pics then I'll take them. Was gonna buy these for Mike but might be a good little budget upgrade for me
