QLD Damaged 1990 Z32 2+0 Slicktop (Red) with Rebuilt Engine

Background:

My car was recently hit from the side at the front. The area of impact was on the front of the front left quarter panel. The other car has spun around as a result and hit the rear of my car as well, although mainly cosmetic. My Car has mounted a 90 degree gutter at about 15 degrees.

The front wheels no longer line up, the left strut tower has been pushed to the left of the car and the left wheel has a slight ding in it. None of the Tyres blew in the accident. I am guessing the chasis is bent at the front but it still may be repairable.

The engine is still good except there is a small puncture in the sump where the powersteering mount has hit the sump. About 1/2 the way up the sump. The engine ran for less than 5 seconds before it was turned off. Most of the oil was found under the car away from the point of impact - less than a litre.

The power steering resivour has drained also so there is a break in the line somewhere.

Whats good:
-Koyo OEM Style Radiator
-Both doors were untouched and still open and close normally - 100% functioning
-Rear Hatch
-Mongoose M80 Imobiliser
-3" Catback exhaust, Single outlet,HKS Super Dragger Muffler, hi-flow cat (so I have been told by previous owner)
-Whiteline Sway Bars
-King Springs with KYB Shocks (not sure how the front left tower faired in the accident)
-New OEM Wiring Harness installed about 12 months ago
-New OEM heater core and heater tap
-Yokohama S.Drive Tyres on rear stock Wheels with only 2,000ks on them
-Dash has been re-glued down
-Gearbox with newish GREDDY clutch (approx 15,000ks) - oil changed less than 1000ks ago wiht Redline MT-90
-All original glass is still good
-Engine 5,000ks post rebuild (excl. sump), with New OEM Turbos 3000ks old (the whole unit, not just the CHRA). Engine was rebuilt about 18 months ago by Coooparroo Engineering & Performance (Engine was freshened up top and bottom, incl all new hoses, EGR, AIV and PVRV Removal - all original bits that were removed come with the car too) $5k spent inlcuding:-
-New Det Sensor and Harness
-100,000k service performed
-New OEM Oil Cooler Hoses ($160 Worth!)
-New Power Steering Hoses
-All Hoses on Engine Replaced
-All New Gaskets used
-OEM Injectors Cleaned and Flow Tested

Whats Damaged
-Front bumper
-Rear bumper (looks to be only paint damage)
-Windscreen washer bottle resivour
-Radiator overflow bottle
-Left hand side intercooler
-left hand side headlight
-Power Steering Rack?
-Suspension Linkages - mainly on front left

Whats Not Included:
-Windscreen Cowls
-Battery
-Gearbox and E-Brake Boot
-Shifter Knob
-Stereo / Speakers
-Interior Light Cover
-steering wheel gorn pad
-RHS Steering Wheel POD

Lots of TLC has been put into this baby before she got a nose jobby. I drove it too Sydney and Back on the 2009 Easter Long Weekend flawlessly. 9.5L/100km on the highway :|

 

Hey mate do you have receipts for the rebuild and such? I'm interested as i gonna have to rebuild/replace all the things you mentioned on my own car so might be a cheaper option to buy yours and then make some money back parting out some stuff.

Will be 3-4 months or so before i save up the cash, but i am interested if engine is in great condition.

Got a power figure or compression test result by any chance?

I have receipts for everything. In one big massive folder about an inch thick for everthing from the last 5 years + owners manul. Might as well take that with the car too. Lol.

It was dynoed before the rebuild at 174kws before the exhaust and intercoolers. I have that dyno result

Sold?

 

Its still for sale. I was chasing insurance stuff before that is not going anywhere. It needs to go so I can get another car. It is still at the panel beaters so not available for an inspection straight away. The chasis is bent, but it is only a writeoff because of the cost and effort in getting spare parts. I have receipts for the rebuild worth more than the cost I am selling it let alone the other goodies and my time that has gone into it.
