plenty of guys around here who've had a NA or TT zeds since they were 16. most of them don't feel the need to talk about it like they've just made it in life with pretentious sigs/threads hinting at how awesome they "think" they are.

well, I don't own a Z, lol, but I've got my eye on one (just gotta find someone) and I'm 16.

haha SNAP! lol, i'm sorry, but I will continue to "think" I'm awesome as i'm sure that if it weren't awesome to own a zed, you wouldn't have one yourself?? - unless your into wasting money!
haha and here in dubvegas, most people my age aren't driving sports cars, i'm up against a few utes, and a bunch of excels and astra's!! - so im still pretty happy with myself! :)

Sorry mate but you have come over as being quite arrogant. You're nothing special aye. I fell in love with zeds when I was 16, I then almost bought 4 over the next 10 months (got sold out from under me... thats right 4 times with 4 different cars!). Now I'm 17, got my own zed... in bits... in the garage :) Thats right you're not the only 17 year old with a zed and no offense but P platers with any fast cars in my opinion are trouble. Just being around mates in their cars, it's soo tempting to race or do something stupid (for me its going to be even harder driving the zed when she's on the road and not the 'rents cars).

    Anyways just my $0.02 AUD

Oh and see that white zed in my sig? That's owned by a mate who is still 15 and doesn't even have his L's. So no you're not the youngest zed owner :)

Thanks MikeZ32, I've been wondering about the average age of Zed owners, so thanks for the link to that poll.
The data is just over 2 years old, I wonder if the figures still hold true given that the cars are even cheaper now ?

I.e, they're at a price where more first car buyers can consider them.

haha i wasn't saying im anything special, it was more just an expression of interest as too who else was out there... And I definitely think your comment on the P platers is true, but not necessarily in all cases, I have been an idiot a couple of times, but only ever on my own, I find that i am more of a show off with accessories more than anything else, the 2k of sound equipment and full undercar lights seem 2 draw enough attention 2 my rolla without being a dickhead lol... but not everyone is the same either...

Yes and no with the high power laws in most states. I'm almost 22 have a TT and it still isn't cheap to maintain or insure. Paid $9700 and have spent almost 6k already keeping it on the road. That's in about 7-8 months of TT ownership not including the thousands spent on my previous NA.

I'm 19 and I own and maintain 3 cars while working a minimum wage job.
    What is your point?

My point is if you had read my quote, they aren't really that affordable even with the market price falling. Congrats you fail. :p:D:)
