Hey guys, my zed is auto (yeh i kno) and its got the Navan shifter. Now to get out of Park you need to put your foot on the brake (safety mechanism should disengage) and press the button on the shifter. Now for some reason when i put my foot on the brake the saftey wont disengage and thus pressing the button won't do anything so i cant get the car out of park. Now i know i can use the little override button at the front to get it out of gear (its become second nature to press it now lol, its also probably a good thing in case of thieves) but i do want to fix this problem so yeh.... any ideas would be great! i thinks its more a mechanical problem im not sure if it is that fuse as: 1 checked it changed it no problems 2 the car doesn't need power for the safety to be disengaged 3 im pretty damn sure there is some mechanical mechanism joining them but i hey could be wrong!! any other ideas ppl?
