installing 3rd brake light

    hi folks,

    any tips on installing the 3rd brake light? going for the brazillian look but the piece is quite fragile hence i just wanna double check on do's and don'ts.

    if you look at that third brake light panel you have , you will see that it has more little clip thingys than your hatch has to make it clip in .
    so you have to line up your third brake light panel with your hatch , make some marks , and drill holes to suit.
    Because the clip things are square , you could use a triangle file to square it out .
    that way your panel should clip right in . its my next job on the list too , so maybe someone else has some tips .

    thanks mate, i guess i should have been more specific..... im well aware of the clips etc but was curious to see if there was anything else we shuold do to ensure water doesnt get in cos it doesnt seem to have any rubber seals or anything of such to prevent water and stuff from getting into the boot..... what are your thoughts?

    The nissan one I bought has a rubber seal on the top of it that runs the whole length of it , but not on the underside .
    If yours doesn't have that I suppose you could run a bead of silicone or something along the top just before you install it
