I have some light scuff marks / scratches in a piece of clear plastic that I would like to remove... Not keen on doing any sanding as I know I will just ruin it completely.... can anyone recommend a polish or compound that I can buy that I can apply and try to buff them out?

    Cheers

Car polish can work on plastic. I used Meguiar's car polish on my cluster plastic, and it worked great.

Yes, toothpaste would work too, as it is an abrasive. Toothpaste can be used to polish/clean metal too ;)

I bought a Plastic Polish from Repco several years ago, it worked very successfully.
Don't know if they still sell it(but I'm sure there would be alternate products).:zlove::zlove:

2nd on this. The Meguiars product cleaned up my old rear tail lights nicely.

Is another product that will remove scratches and produce a high polished finish in plastic.:)

Novus sell a 3 stage plastic polish, I've used it on the tail lights on the Z, and on my bike visor, great stuff, and you can get it smoothed down to perfectly clear again. Can't remember what it's called, but you can get it from Novus.

PlastX by Meguiars seems pretty common.

You might have to resort to the wet sand if they are deep.
