Hi all, selling these, I have recently purchased a set of brakes straight from the slot car (UAS race car). These are front brembos from a 997 GT3 cup car teamed up with V8 Supercar two piece 380mm rotors with custom hats made to fit the zed. They come with everything necessarry to mount them and with braided brake lines. reason, I hastily took the opportunity to own the only set of these avaliable in aus already adapted to a zed without considering how much longer it would cause me to take finish my engine. How about you sell the slick top and then use the cash to buy these brakes I would like a slicktop but the idea is to finish my car not get another ATM
was just putting it out there because you were interested in our other slicktop so this would have been easy for both of us. Will keep these in mind
well anyone interested in a three way deal? someone in WA buy the slicktop, Ill pay for it with the brakes...........as long as 3rd party gives me the cash. and heres a sweetner, If someone does this then I will throw in a freshly rebuilt TT engine that has nearly finished being run in, including turbos, wiring harness and ECU for 2k more. thats a manuel TT slicktop for 7500 anyone?
ACL Race bearings, stock rods, stock pistons, new rings. Bores only needed a hone. surfaces faced and new gaskets all round. Crank checked and straight, 100K service. New injector plugs and coil pack connectors, water temp sensor plug. all hoses checked and replaced where required. still got all the standard pollution control gear.
Hey, i have seen this Zed and the rebuild of the engine also, its in really good condition hey, wish i could afford it myself but busy building my own engine. Whoever buys this will be extremely happy
Nice kit, nearly bought these myself. Just pointing out that any prospective buyers will need 18" wheels and should check wheel/caliper clearance as these are SIGNIFICANTLY larger than stock.
Yeah, thanks Rob, thats a very good point. these brakes certainly arnt for everyone. I'm very happy to keep them in fact because they will suit what Im planning perfectly, but engine before brakes is the way to go I think so help me out someone!!!
UAS will prepare the kit to suit and depending on cost, I will wear it. Which car were you thinking of?
Hey all, these still for sale. Someone must want the best brakes in the world. Keep in mind that to buy the calipers by themselves would be over $2000 each new with no pads and no rotors and no custom hats and no dog bone adaptors and no braided lines. and these have had paint stripped and hard anodised so better for heat dispersion and also reconditioned and come with all that stuff listed above. these brakes would get you in a magazine even if your car was stock, (totally wild stab in the dark opinion, no guarantees) but seriously they would be pretty impressive looking. so someone out there, tell your wife/Girl friend that your life is worth more than $5500, that titanium pistons might sound like crazy overkill, but they could mean the difference between hitting a roo after 150km,s of 200km/h corners or not hitting the roo, the zyrcon coating is just the same as radiom on white gold, it makes it last forever and that one piece hard anodised calipers come standard on other cars but because of some weird Jap saftey standard the zeds got missed out. Further more, tell her that with these brakes, the fuel bill will be cut in half, the shopping will get done automatically, when not in use they will clean the house, and mow the lawn............ and then come and put the credit card where your drool is! (depending on your wife / girl friend, some of the advice above may not be benificial to anything.)

Once these badboys get into my shed, there's no chance my large eyes will let them out of their sight again. Im going on Kokoda trail for 10 days starting on the 27th of this month so upon my return I will have the brakes delivered to me and they will no longer be for sale. Keep in mind, the only brakes better than this on a zed are on the slot car and thats it. The two best zed stoppers in the world!!. any questions are appreciated. zeb
