    Ok another update

I went to the Nissan Dealership today and they said that my 02 Sensors are reading inconsistently and incorrectly. Both 02 Sensors need replacement.

Do you believe that the problem is related to those Sensors?

They can get new ones in for $550. Does anyone have any Spare or cheaper?

    IB ?????

If you disconnect them and it runs better, then they need replacing. Caz can supply for about $90 each.

    Damn

Problem still exists intermittently. Ran the diagnostics on Sat, fixed up a too low base idle setting. AAC is working fine, no vac leaks.

Of course the problem didn't show up during the testing. All sensors were within normal parameters.

But Zermin does have an intermittent Code 34 det sensor error which I was able to clear via datascan. Det sensor wiring is fine.

Next step is to bypass det sensor and see if that helps... From there it may be an intermittently failing sensor such as CTS, TPS, CAS, AFM etc.

PS: 02s are fine. Don't know how Nissan found them to be faulty?

Just got to get the diagnostic on it whilst the problem occurs...

    Hi Mark

Thank you heaps for looking after me.

Something started happening today that you mentioned to me the other day.

It starts backfiring and it does not push through when i try to hit above 3-4 revs. Constant choking and it does not go faster.

I haven't had time to put the resister in. I will do it tomorrow morning and i hope it will fix the problem.

    kind regards

    Zermin

    Resister installed and no difference.

Must be something else. Maybe dirty injectors?

you need to clear the fault codes after the resister is installed.

So which problem still exists? the stalling issue?

The stalling issue... Today i was driving and changed down a gear to 2nd and the car died! Pow... turned off, turns back on and dies again. I tried few times and same problem. I waited a bit and it turned on and i was able to drive..

    2nd Problem.

It starts backfiring and it does not push through when i try to hit above 3-4 revs. Constant choking and it does not go faster at all.

wouldn't backfiring point specifically to flooding of the cylinders and fouling the plugs?

or could one of the sensor's also cause this

All fixed. Thanks to Mark Field. Great guy.

The Air Flow Meter was faulty. Got it replaced and runs like a beauty!

Thank you all for your support.
