Hey there, my name is Isaac and i am a member of 300zx.co.uk the UK 300ZX owners club :D I've been registered on your site for ages but never got round to introducing myself or posting. So anyway i recently gave my zed a good clean and took a few pics on a sunny day (a rare occasion here lol). Anyway i thought this would be as good a time as any to say hello and show you all my zed :D

She's a 1992 JDM LWB TT Auto, bought as a standard car and i have carried out a number of mods on it, mostly myself! Most of the stuff you can see what i've done lol, but i've also completely changed all the suspension including aftermarket springs, shockers, all adjustable arms and tension rods front and rear, bushes, ARBs etc...... Along with some performance mods, like exhaust (due for a change tho, as it was one i bought to see me thru till i can afford a decent one), Blitz ECU, EBC, air filter etc.....

I have recently had her dyno'd at 333fwhp and 277rwhp which aint bad for the mods. Also she is running 385ftlb of torque - wooohoooo, quite proud of that :D

In the future i have an awful lot of plans, which will need me to earn alot of wonga to fund it lol. In the future i want to convert it to manual, get RLTC and a full respray. But in all honesty like most of you, i realise the list never actually ends lol.

Anyway enough wittering on, here are a few piccies i took, hope you like - i sure do :D

LOL they tend to be a love or hate thing :D Buuuuuuut i love em :p

Bought 3 odd wheels off ebay they needed refurbing, bought a fourth and refurbed em myself. Even if i do say so myself i did a really good job on them and got a perfect finish.

I guess if we all liked the same things the world would be a boring place lol. Thanks for the compliments buddy :)

    nice car.

Tell me, what is it like owning a Zed on the AWSOME english backroads?

is it awsome, or just plain scary (given the rain).

    Where abouts are you from?

I lived in Kent most of my life and the MAIN thing I miss (appart from mates, and earning the pound, and having a pub on every corner that is SAFE to go in and wont get you stabbed) is the B roads. WOuld LOVE to take a zed there and go for a summers day blast.

    Cheers mate :D

I live in Southport, Merseyside. Its about half an hour from Liverpool in the North West of England. And hey living near Liverpool i can safely say you can't go into EVERY pub with no risk of getting stabbed :p

The only thing i tend to do with my Sunday afternoons is rag it round a few quiet country roads :D A few draw backs to that - it costs me ALOT in fuel lol, with my right foot i'm looking at about 10mpg  And also they are shit hot with speed cameras here! Setting up vans and what not catching you in places you seriously would'nt think they'd target! But its all part and parcel i suppose, you just become used to it, and i've got a snooper device LOL.

It can be pretty scary in the wet TBH, alot of peeps lock their zeds up in the garage over the winter, however alot don't. Over on 300zx.co.uk everytime winter comes around there are half a dozen or so threads started when people wrap their zeds up :( I however drive mine come rain or shine and just take it easy in the wet, but when its dry boy o boy does it see some action :D

If you ever come over you can have a drive on a nice B road - just please don't kill me

Isaac welcome to the forum. Having been born in Liverpool, UK we have the NW of England in common. The Zed looks very nice and is a credit to you.

As has been mentioned it is good to see Zeds from other parts of the world, in that respect the car knows no boundaries.

I have often visited the UK site and found it to be helpful at times when chasing some of the gremlins found in the Zed.
