was brought up on here that there is an alternative style Tail Light available in the US, as an alternative to the J-Spec or 2000-spec that seems to be the only option over here.

    They are available in either:-
    a. Red/Smoked- Red Tail/Brake light diffuser with smoked white indicator diffuser
    b. Red/Clear- Red Tail/Brake light with clear indicator diffuser (pictured)

Have contacted a couple of sellers regarding a quote on a group buy, with combined freight. One has returned a purchase price of $180 with $36 freight per pair- quote was for a purchase of 10 sets. Yet to receive a quotation from a second seller. All prices are in US dollars. Seemed that the first supplier wasnt too willing to lower price per set (only $5), but combined freight drops from $80 to $36. Second supplier however might offer something different.

Both suppliers state that these units are direct fit. Centre panel is not included.

Just looking to see if there is any interest in such Tail lights as a more personalised alternative, and see where it goes from there.

    Could be interested also.

Any pics on a car though?

I read they were straight drop ins, so I take it no need to convert to LED's?

    Thanks

    any pics of them installed?

and is there a centre panel available as well, worried about the potential mismatch of centre panel and tail lights....
love the look though, very nice....

There was a thread on here a few weeks ago about them. Think Chrispy posted a pic of them installed. For the life of me, I cant find it. This is merely an EOI, if any interest is generated, might be an idea to contact a US forum and have a mention to a few of the members about these kits and if any specific supplier is recommended. Prices range significantly for what "appears" to be the same product.

good looking lights, would be good to see the quality of these, as alot of the Ferrari lights are pretty crappy plastic,

also keep in mind these light are illegal as they dont keep the red reflector.

was merely an EOI. Am hoping that some1 with a little more experience with group buys might be interested in running with this, perhaps somebody experienced with O'S dealings. Personally, only have 1 week remaining before I have to leave for work again, with limited to no internet access once I'm gone.
Bulk freight saving ($80US to $36US) only requires 5 sets.... as 10 sets will be sent in 2 lots. With current exchange rates.... sets will be $305 each, landed in Australia. As an alternative to the 2000-spec, its more "financially friendly".
If somebody, which I hope, does decide to run with this as a Group Buy, will personally cover a significant up-front cost, so as to not inconvenience them.

I want a smoked set. But I too dont have the cash upfront to fund the GB seeing as I have an upcoming engine payment to make.
