hi all have been thinking for the past couple of days about selling my zed when i move to Melbourne, start saving a bit more money while i'm on course and then buy a really nice tt or something. FOR SALE 1990 5 Speed NA Aus Spec Price = $7500 ono targa top - does not leak! Kilometres = 248,000 Genuine highway Kms Colour = originally white but has been resprayed flat 2pac white Condition = good nic, very clean but some wear & tear Seats = Transmission = 5 Speed Manual Engine = Naturally Aspirated (Non-Turbo, P plate friendly) Interior = retrimed with blue/grey coloured fabric, very nice and looks standard have had the car since the start of the year, although it has high then average kms the car has a great service history and had been looked after by its previous owner and myself. i have only serviced it 3 times (replace oil & filter) the interior has been fully re trimmed using a blue/grey material, it looks stock and the seats are trimmed with a pattern down the center(looks like standard commodore but on a zed). the trim on the drivers door has lifted but will be repaired before sale. it has had a major service at 200,000 kms(sticker inside the car), no engine mods, just regular maintenance. i have replaced the power steering solenoid as the original one was shagged, had fully bled the clutch system and replaced with DOT4 brake/clutch fluid it has near new brake pads on the front and about 50% on the rear, all disks are even and not warped, will be painting the calipers soon. i have pulled the standard airbox out and replaced with a K&N pod, using an adapter bracket between the AFM and POD. i have replaced the sound system through the car with basic sony speakers, 6" in the doors and 4" rears with a basic sony HU. i also have a clarion amp and 12" sub in the boot, not sure whether i want to keep the sub+amp but may let it go. the body of the car is good, it has a few carpark dents that have gathered over the years and i have been told most of them will come out paintless, theres a tiny bit of rust on the drivers door (by tiny i mean smaller then 5 cent coin) right up the top near the window trim and also a gash that has been repaired in the middle of the door. the front bar is in good condition, it has been cracked before but previous owner has had it plastic welded, only a few scrapes underneath. i recently had someone reverse into my car while i was at bunnings, left a bigger scratch then what was already on the rear bar (see this thread). the rear bar will be taken off and resprayed before sale. the spoiler has bubbled, i have considered removing it and either replacing with a new one and may be done if the car i sold for a good price. standard exhaust, not loud/droning wog (no racist) just nice. i service the car EVERY 5000 KMs using penrite 15w synthetic oil, replace oil filter every 5000KMs. the second day of owning the car i flushed the radiator and replaced with brand new nulon coolant, did and oil flush (add oil flush stuff, drop hot oil, refill with cheap oil, run for ten minutes then drop it while its hot and repeat) and then started using the penrite oils. it doesn't burn oil, no leaks of any sort, the gearbox needs the oil replaced soon as i have not done it yet and i will be replacing the slave cylinder in the next week. after crashing my first zed i have been to scared to thrash this one around trying to drift on the street, i have driven it fast on the highway but that is it. not game enough to try drift/clutch kick on the street so the car has not been thrashed, the previous owner was pretty old (original owner since the 90's) so i highly doubt he was a drift fan. currently has ROH 17" wheels with 235/45/r17 all round, all are in pretty good condition. pics up tonight but you can see the car in my sig

just realised i didnt change the price when i copied the for sale outline. i will let the car go for $6500 cash, i'm pretty negotiable as i would prefer someone else owns the car then me leaving it sit for 3-6 months while i can't drive it. i clay bar the car once a month and wash it most weekends, i usually spend a few hours detailing the car inside and out, i have steam cleaned the seats, taken them out and washed differently, cleaned every part of the interior. heres the pics: this is the only pic i have of the interior. dosnt actually show the scrape but its on the drivers side corner of the rear bar.
can arrange something if your keen... send me your email and i'll take some better pics of everything. also, would be around $700 - $800 to have it driven up on a flatbed truck. may consider driving it up for you for the right price +return ticket.

ok, its official... i'm moving on the 28th of july so i would like to sell the zed before i move. it now has a full set of super advan racing wheels and new tyres all round. need this gone as i want to buy a s14 when i move to melbourne... :zlove::nono:
yeah the zeds gone now... i'm going to put all my gear into a new shell so after the effort that is about to come... will not be selling it. cheers (mods can lock this thread)
nah, not right now anyway. will get it back on the road, i'm moving to melbourne for a while so will need something legal to drive. once i'm in darwin for my first posting i'll put the engine into something else (240z or 260z, it fits, i've measured up a mates engine bay... TIGHT!) and will drop in a nice tt.
