wow that looks fantastic! photos look great too, awesome location.

agree about the paint, looks like standard candy red pearl to me. Mine looks the same when its polished up in the sun. In fact you've got remarkably similar taste to me, our cars could be twins bar the wheels & lack of wing:D

    cheers, Tim

Thanks for the kind words all.

Jono, I asked Coz about shipping 2 sets of 2000 spec lights, but because of the size of the package it would have ended up being more expensive to get them at the same time.

Hey Col, yeah ended up upgrading to the 50D, had a friend who wanted a 40D so it made sense. Got rid of the 17-85mm Canon lens with it and replaced it with a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8, that's what those were all shot with. Much nicer lens, heaps crisper and a lot less CA. Damn good bang for buck. What lenses did you end up going with?

Geez I changed my mind about 6 times on bodies & lenses in the week before I bought, but ended up with EF-S 10-22 & EF 24-105L IS which I'm really happy with. Although the 24-105 is possibly the weakest of the L lenses, the range really appealed to me and I haven't regretted it. Down the track I'll get the EF-70-200 F4 IS with a 1.4 or 2x teleconverter, and maybe even the same Tamron 17-50mm you have just to be able to have a F2.8 lens when its needed.

But great job on the pics!

Great photos, glad to see the car was returned to its former glory!~

Being a big photography fan, I really like your shots, any chance you could PM me any raw shots of those?

    Cheers, Andrew
