finally after a year of being dead for a year, my zed is back on the road now that I have my license back. It feels good to drive it again, but I think I really need to get it serviced. Sorry if this thread is pointless.

Hey bro, Im from Holden Hill area. My zed is extremly loud for some reason, any of my friends that hear it will say f*** that is loud. They say it is louder than a V8 anyday.

It happend all after my new exhaust was put on. It is definatly way over the legal sound intensity level.

I would like to know if any one here also has a zed that is extremly loud?

Today my zed started shaking very erratically from the engine bay. It could be felt especially when my zed is idle. Does anyone know why this is happening? I havent checked the oil and water yet but I will later on today.

I hope its not a big problem.

new exhaust would normally do it... I would suggest throwing on a muffler or 2...

As for the rough idle........ Do you get a load ticking noise from the engine bay area and when you accelerate it get louder faster? Does it feeel like you have lost alot of power or it is more or less the same?

i think she might need a good kick in the guts to be honest... There will be so much build up in there it not funny.

This is exactly how it is, so do you know what might be wrong?. And the thing is, it is not constant. Like I might start it up today and it will be running totally fine, but then I might start it up again later today and then the irreadic shaking might start happening again.

It cant be oil and water koa I just checked it and they are fine. Im thinkning maybe the plugs are corroded and or dirty?

If so does anyone know a link to a guide on how to clean them? thanks.

plugs in these are little more difficult than the average car, and chances are (if they are stock) they are platinum plugs which have long life... Normally they should prime after your first start, BUT they have been known to cause this...

you need to pull your coil packs off to expose the tunnels for your plugs, so be sure you know what you are doing.

Try swapping out a ptu with another member and cleaning your connectors with electrical connector solvent around about your ignition system.
