Hey the stock harmonic balancer is stuck on real tight and when using the pulley puller it has snaped of a few sections of the pulley. I am going by the tech guide and doing it on the larger part of the pulley but it wont budge.

    Any ideas ?

I dont mind if it breaks s I have a light weight udp I plan to fit

    cheers:)

What kind of a pulley puller do you have?

is it the claw type thing?

What I did with mine was get two removal bars, they're just fat metal bars that are flat on the ends, get two, wedge them behind the pulley, one on the right side, one on the left side, and slowly "walk" the pulley out (push it out using both of them)

Yeah I've only ever pulled one off but I didn't use a puller. A couple of taps with a hammer and it almost fell off.

    Cheers,
    Evan.

the best type of puller to use is one which allows you to screw 2 small bolts into the balancer. you can then easily remove the pully without damaging it.

you can buy such a puller from supercheap - normally called a steering wheel puller. claw type are dangerous imho
