All, I have now had enough of the shitbox viper alarm i had installed the day after the car arrived in australia. I am wanting some help with the best place in QLD to install a top end alarm system. Anyone in QLD got any recommendations??? any help would be appreciated.
can't help you with places, but curious as to what was wrong with the viper? I'm in the market for a new alarm myself
I've got a few mates that got their systems installed through Strathfield. Did an awesome job. Pretty good prices too. But I spose the install is only as good as the installer. So try to go somewhere that is known to be good. Sorry cant give you exact store details. just heard strathfield was good

i have one, and these are just an immobiliser, not an alarm system.... allthough reccomended... not what you are after
i would recomend the mongoose m80 series.. if u where in melb i would sell and install one to u... just some of the stand out features.. australian standards waterproof remotes 3 point of immob. the u get all the other stuff that other alarm systems give u... viper is 1 point of immob. hopeless for insurance purposes.. but then again u get remote ignition
about 220 for the unit very hard to install... helped some1 install one in his car and took very long... so im not being hypocritical.. im putting one in my car when stock comes in (i ordering a few if any1 is interested)
speak to ztoy from the forum. he installs anyting with wires. so send him a pm. and he should be able to hook you up with something you like.
post sales support does not exist. 'go back to your reseller' is what i paid extended warranty for. im done with them.
