What a great night. It was absolutely fantastic seeing faces that I haven't seen in over 12 months. Great meeting a couple of new faces as well. Despite saying I wouldn't come down. I jumped on a plane with K-zed and Pex and flew down Thursday night and stayed with the BEST MEMBER EVER CAZ1. Huge thanks for your hospitality Caz. It meant alot!. Time hasn't changed a single thing about any of our members. They are still the best bunch of people i've ever been associated with without a doubt. Geoff - GREAT SUCCESS OF A NIGHT!!! Huge thanks to you and your parents for such a wonderful shindig. Worth the trip down without a doubt. and that new toy of yours is a bloody masterpiece. Just a shame you couldn't take me out drifting. Next time didn't you say? What a great bunch of people you all are and Thanks for having us down. Lets get some photo's up... Firstly, thank you to Caroline for the accommodation and great company. I had a ball, as did we all. You are a truly super gal. Thank you to Geoff and your wonderful parents for putting up with me/us, your great hospitality and excellent spread of food. Sorry we bought the typical Brisbane afternoon thunderstorm with us . Think I got around to shaking everyone's hand. Spent a lot of the night with Lynn and Lloyd. Was great to meet the NSW folk, as I had only previously met Caz and Andymac from your great state (actually I have met Haylz before), so a lot of new faces, names and forum nicks I can associate with now We fly back tonight, so I'll post up my pictures tomorrow. Great R35 Geoff, keep the car locked until fate gets on the plane at 6:45. See you all that come to Warwick in 2009.

Freakin freaking freakin!!! tried so hard to get out of work, but planned outages for the weekend kept me on my toes. Another loss of catching up for me oh well....theres always next year haha PUT SOME PICS UP!!!
Big thanks to Geoff and his family. I believe it was the first time i've met most of the people from the forums, you all seemed like a great group of people. Really sorry I had to leave early but had to get up at 4:30 for work. Still glad I made it and yea was nice to put some faces to the names! haha. I cant believe Lloyd and his wife actually remember me dropping by earlier in the year at that dinner thing to pull Bill and Caz out to run consult on my car. I swear I had no idea that was on! Has ANYONE met a lovelier, more accommodating couple than Geoff's parents, Doris and Bill...???!!! This special couple (after all, they HAVE put up with Oni all these years!!) open their home and welcomes us all every year as tho' WE are family!! Thank you both, and Geoff, for all the preparation and food provided... as most Zed owners never have money left over to buy food after maintaining our cars, it is always great to be invited to 'fill up' and be welcomed as we always are. Look after them, Geoff, they are wonderful, special people...! (Apologies for the early-ish departure, Geoff, but after the loss of my Mum in the prior week, I'm afraid I was a bit 'out-of-it'. Apologies also to all our interstaters for not introducing... as I said, I was more than a little 'lost' last night). Hope to meet up again before Christmas...
What a great night! Many thanks to Geoff and his parents for hosting such a wonderful evening! Having been stuck at home for the most part of this year, it was great to near the end of the year having a great catchup session with an awesome bunch of people. It was great talking to so many people with a passion for zeds and funny enough even shared a passion for geoff's slide shows . I cant wait for the next event for more of the same! AND for all those missing the good old days, the forum names 'mijake' again! Thanks K-zed. It was actually quite interesting as I all of a sudden have 5 unread pms from 2007! Great photos guys Shame i couldn't join you's this time round. Geoff, your new R35 looks beautiful. Some really big wheels will look hot on it. Looks like you all had a fun night, wish i was there.
Should have Been there Benny, would have been good, no pool for you to jump in though. Geoff can only wish it was a R35. agreed it will look hot with some nice wheels.
