some little thief has stolen my tyre caps

How do you think they got to live in a rich suburb? That's right, by stealing our stuff.

 

heres an idea

if your feeling kinda vigilante, go down to your nearest high school. go to the bike racks. find any bikes with chrome or nice valve caps, steal them, and also steal their bike seat. Cant be sure that they stole the caps but eh you'll feel better anyway =D

failing that, put loctite on the threads. will be fun times filling up your tyres, but at least the caps wont get stolen ^^

I was staying with a friend in pasco vale a few weeks ago, came out to drive off (daily driver not the zed) and I have not 4 wheels, but 3 wheels and a brick!!

Was a damn nice brick was rendered and all, but still would have prefered someone not steal my alloy. Attempted to take the front as well, but for some reason it was still on the car with out wheel nuts.

Sadly these bastards never get caught and if they did anyway the law would give them a slap on the wrist ;-( :bash:

yeah its just annoying, not so pissed off about the dollar value just that ive been stolen from and cant do anything about it, also the hassle of getting new ones.

 

Bringing up an old thread, but I just realised while washing the Z that I have had mine stolen again.
Unusual thing is, they replaced them with their shitty bike caps!

the ones I got you can tighten with a I think 10mm spaner they wont come of in a hurry

 

i've been done twice in 2 weeks. first time they stole 2 of them in the underground carpark at work... so i bought new metal ones (need a 10mm socket to undo them) and fitted them before deca (need metal caps for motorsport). Day after deca i went to work again and parked in front of the store and someone (probably the same customer) stole them again. also last year someone stole the red plastic caps (had nitrogen in the tyres). now i'm just using normal black ones, have a set of metal ones which I'll fit when I have to go to the track.

 

Can you send me your fancy aluminium ones then if you're not using them.

I want spares when my Rays engraved ones are stolen. Don't want to know what they're worth to replace....
