Dude thats odd. It looks like some kind of custom piggy-back dual tune thing going on there. Is there any other wires coming away from it with a switch of some kind?? I couldn't see anything in the photo's. Could possibly be why your running so excessively rich. BUT I'd be more inclined to look at some other basics to fuel consumption. I have a *very* aggressive tune on my ecu and I still average 450+ in the city and not conserving fuel, 700 on the freeway. Have a look in the tech section under fuel consumption. But I'd be adding the following to the to-do list. Do a ecu diagnostic, see if it's flashing any errors. In particular coolant temp sensor or detonation sensor. Change your 02's if not done recently check for any air leaks Take care of those things and you'll be seeing circa 400k's to the tank.
k yer but nar no wires just the ones going to the comp no switch.... do u think i should take it out ????
Not unless you know what your doing I wouldn't. It's wired directly into the EPROM socket so you cut those wires you'll be going no-where. If your technically minded you can remove it yourself, if not I'd suggest buying a second hand ecu (fairly cheap) and plugging it in for a while. But as I said, I doubt it's the cause of your fuel issue. Look to the other things I spoke about.

yep its some sort of plug in tunable ROM emulator. but your chances of finding someone who can tune that are very slim. you might be better off getting a replacement stock ECU.
Yeah, looks like the previous owner was a clever cookie. Might be as simple as a selectable twin tune thing like 90TTZ's TwinTune Select doover.
