after 5 months of looking i have joined the 300zx club,i was a member on here but not a real member as i didnt have a 300 so i felt like an imposter. i purchased 89jet from jet power(bob).many qld members will know this car.it is a beauty,i am very happy with it.i could have got one much cheaper but like someone quotes on here - a good zed isnt cheap and a cheap zed isnt good.i am so proud to own this car ,bob has done a great job with it.if any brissy members want to cruise down to the gold coast one weekend give me a pm. i met a few people at the skid pan day recently and look forward to meeting them again at future events( i was the guy on the yellow/black motorbike).will need plenty of help from everyone as i now stuff all about em. cheers

Congratulations !!! and welcome to the forum as a zed owner. You have indeed bought yourself a beautiful car. Now that i know who bought the jet, i wouldve felt guilty jumping in and getting it, then selling the red one, but... i am very glad it went to you guys. Look forward to catching up soon...

hi bob,i transferred rego over today,them bastards charged me 75 bucks to change the plates over to my name,cant see why it would be more than a normal plate(free)but they have a monopoly on the market dont they.what is the best way to lock the car,is the key the only way.thanks mate.

Hi Rod. You use the first button on the remote controller to lock and unlock the door. Its the same button that operates the immobiliser. $75 is pretty steep for a transfer fee, although they are pretty awesome plates IMO. You are welcome to drop by if you want me to show how anything works. Zeds have their own peculiar way with some things, eg. the climate control/air con settings might take some practice to get used to, and the transmission's hold/power operation is interesting. Its all fun though.
Hey guys, I'm new to the brissy zed clan too. Just picked up my NA 2+2.. I'll have to post some picies after she gets a bath.. damn having to park in a unseald carpark.. I would be interested in any events going on and also some incite on how things work etc. Cheers, Will
