Hi guys hope you can help me. Last night about 2 hours after I drove my 300zx tt last I went to start it up and it wouldn't crank over. I kept trying but the starter motor just kept turning. A heavy fuel smell developed so i guess it was flooded so I left it over night.. It started fine this morning when I drove to work, everything running perfect. As I was coming home just before the engine completely cut out and came to a stop. I tried to start her up again but it was just doing what it was last night. Im thinking fuel pump? I don't exactly know. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers Civa
U smelt alot of fuel? sounds like no spark. Maybe ur PTU is dying? Do u have a series 1 unit? Regards Trev
yea it got no spark just kept ticking over and wouldn't ignite. It's a 93 and I am not sure what series ptu it has
Have alook mate... if it has alloy ribs it a series 1.(located under the lefthand induction pipe.) Trev
