    Purchase the HKS Kit

    I purchased a HKS Piping kit and you see the quality, trust me... You get what you pay for! Think I paid somewhere in the $350 mark... It WAS 3 years ago though... Well known shops are doing them from Japan these days, like Border, HKS (still) and Greddy... Do some research mate, you'll find something.

    The reason is, it's a ****ing Zed, get used to owning one!

    Might be a good idea to bite you lip, before you start calling one of the most reliable, helpful and decent people you are ever likely to meet, a "Rip Off" merchant.

    There are a total of
    4 X Polished/Chromed, mandrel bent pipes,
    8 X Silicone joiner hoses and,
    16 X quality Hose Clamps in a full set of hardpipes for a TT(halve those numbers for NA),
    and you want them for peanuts?

    NO i will not bite my lip. Im calling the price a rip of. And it is. Im not dissin Caz, she probably buys them for a little bit cheaper, and has to make her profit, so thats not what im saying. And anyway she was very helpfull to me a while back so i wouldnt talk shit about her. But that price is wrong, and i dont care if its the Virgin Mary selling them.

    Dont tell me that four aluminium pipes, ONE piece of silicon (chopped into four) and some clamps are gonna cost that much money. Why you tryin to justify it anyway?? Explain to me why they'd be priced similarily to dump pipes which have had thorough R&D, excellent workmanship and good gains. Dont make sense to me.

    Anyway... just found a set for 150 delivered..... probably gonna hit you up with a PM soon to buy one of your "rip off" L-shaped pieces of metal with a bolt in it.

    no you are right mate.... I didnt mean it to come accross as CAZ ripping people off. The price in General on these items, is a rip off. No hard feelings Caz ay.

    Save your typing muscles.

    Why does a Z32 Cargo Blind sell for around $1200 when it doesn't make one bit of difference on the Dyno?:p:p

    What came first, the chicken or the egg?:confused:

    Sooo many questions......so little understanding.:rolleyes::p:zlove:

    i actually got CAZs hardpipes for 350 bout 8 months ago. Use to leak a fair bit. But i replaced some clamps, tightedned the absolute crp out of them, and they seem to be fine even when full powered down the road. Will be having a boost leack check whilst its at the Zshop now anyway. Should get it back in a few weeks and hope there is still no boost leaks and ill be happy :)

    Im glad you aren't dissin me URHYNS :p

    Not that I need to justify my pricing BUT if you are thinking that then others probably are too.
    The pipe kits that I sell are very different to any kit you will buy for $150 off ebay.

    This year have paid for setup with Sydney based motorsport pipework manufacturer to produce these custom mandrel pipes solely for CazRacing, I specify the grade/quality of the aluminium used as the lower grade stuff is not only thin but it wont polish up to the standard I want in CAZRACING kits.

    I then take them to my Show polisher who doesn't work for free! There are 4 polishing stages involved in taking them from raw pipes to Bling!

    I use Samco Sport Silicone, one of the best quality silicones world wide, cheap silicone looks cheap and goes sticky with age. Each kit has 2 x custom 63-60mm reducers(rr$57ea) and 2 x 2.5 to 2 inch reducers(rr $44ea) and 4 x 2in pre-cut couplers, Google Samco Sport silicone and add up just the cost of the silicone....
    I also use 16 quality Wurth hose clamps that retail for over $12ea.

    I didnt manufacture the CazRacing HardPipe Kits for the budget shopper, that market is already well catered for, I made them to the standard that I wanted for my Zed and only invested in setting up to produce more because of demand :).

    CazRacing doesnt sell any 'cheap' stuff, if it isnt something Id fit to my own Zed I don't sell it! And I keep my margins to a minimum as my customers are also my peers and friends...keeps me on my toes!

    Caz.. :zlove::zlove::zlove:

    Im glad i didnt offend you.:cool:
    Well... what can i say?? Im not the type to keep justifying myself when I've been pointed.
    So..... fair enough. :)
    I'll see how I go with these generic eBay ones. Few people use them and they seem to be ok. When i start pushing some mega power then ill get better ones, but when i do so, the price wont worry me.:zlove:
