http://autospeed.com/cms/A_2095/article.html Though, can anyone tell me about this, I didn't know about this single turbo version? And above they mention ceramic turbos...sigh, they just destroyed their credibility:
Isn't there and R37 or something coming out too? Different to the GT-R, more like the Infiniti G35 type thing.
Rumours, and if Mr Bean (C. Ghosn) has anything to say about it, it won't be happening any time soon. BTW Guns, the R35 has the VR38DETT, a completely different unit from the VQ. And there IS a new Skyline, it's just the new GT-R no longer belongs in the Skyline lineup.
woot Z32's come with single Turbo VQ's now.... thats awsome WTF, if even I know something is wrong... who the fk got paid to write that shit?
Do not take the quoted figures as gospel. Having a quick look through the article, I would not take the quoted power figures as gospel. For the VH45 they quote 198kw engine output yet my own VH45 powered Zed automatic made 180kwrw (and this engine is in okay condition but needs a good 100kkm service and cleanup) ... 180kwrw does not translate to 198kw at the engine irrespective of what percentage loss you use for the transmission.. Personally the VH45 is the best Nissan engine ... it is so good Infiniti used it as the basis of their Indy race car engine
