I agree, you gota be soooo careful with these cars. Mines an N/A. I think it would also be a great idea to come to the next skidpan!! like pexzed said.

A lot of other cars you wouldve been able to do that turn with no hassles... oil on the road.... hmmm.... i dont think so.

Theres a road near us, i was driving heavytrevy's car, i was careful to accelerate from a side street and the tyes still slipped, arse went out but i kept it together. I know pretty much all roads on the coast and there are some doozies.

Glad you are ok tho, just a bit shaken i gather. Take care of your baby. Please dont be another statistic.

The oil on the road thing relates to the general rubbish on the road in general, it hasn't rained like it did today for quite a while and when it rains all sorts of rubbish as well as water build up is all over the road.

yeah i know what you mean now, and yeah the water brings all that crap out onto the surface

but dont forget, every other driver out there in every other car (inc other zeds) is driving on the same crap

if it was just due to the crap on the roads, we'd all be dead by now ;)

As others have said, driver exp is also accountable.

Hell, I've had to slam a car into reverse to stop her sliding into a parked car on packed down snow in the UK. Breaks did shit all, and there was no other way out.

even now when i tell the story I have people say "man I'd have NEVER thought of that"

just lucky. And to be honest, I owe the moment of inspiration to a computer game about space flight lol

    "retro thrust" ftw ;)

Good point this is a big problem I always try and go really slow in the wet. I have a NA as well and it?s crazy how easy the back want to come out. Just a little right foot at the wrong time can cause any thing to happen. A skid pan day would be awesome I haven?t been to one yet but sounds like fun and good practice.

    Timing is everything
