WOW!!! I bought these ages ago but only got around to it today thanks a mate and let me say they are just perfect, I can see at night for the first time in 4 years without the high beams. I just hope they keep working as nicely. Tops product Cheers Geoff
had mine on for over a year Geoff,no dramas at all, You will want to do the high beam mod,or when you flick to high beam and back to low,you will have nothing due to the ballasts needing to heat up :zlove:
yep, geoff .. i have the same ... amazing difference .. ... mine have been problem free for 6-9 months ... and they come with a 12 month guarantee ... a damn good buy ....:zlove::zlove:
Agreed ..had mine for 12 months No Problems at all. Best buy ever for the Zed. You can actually see with these lights
anyone want to install mine? lol ive had them for ages sitting in the garage.... did attempt to install but found the cables were too short to be able to mount the ballasts anywhere..
I put my ballasts under the nose panel. Length of cable wasn't an issue. Some people mount them under the actual headlight. I might do this too since it's all apart at the moment.
I have both the Hi & Lo beams done(so have 4 Ballasts under the nose panel) and there is no issue with the length of the wiring supplied. Perhaps you're setting it up incorrectly?:zlove:
no i was there for about an hour trying but it physicly wont reach the nose panel.... maybe i was supplied short leads?
How about mounting a flat bracket/plate off the radiator support(directly above the rear of the H/Lights) flat and level with the bonnet?:zlove:
i had the same problem. my drivers side is mounted on the clutch bleeder bolt and the passenger on the radiator support. its not very pretty (but then again i dont exactely have anything to show off under the bonnet) but it does the job fine
yep ..there are a few spots .... D/side ... i have used the bolt that holds the p/steering reservoir .. the ballast sits snugly on the D/side guard .... P/side .... bolted to the radiator shroud and the ballast sits well between the shroud and the fuse box .....
Oni's leads Were just long enough to get under the nose panel, but could have been longer to make a better job of it.
