Gday I was recently heard that the na diff and the turbo diff are different ratios. Anyone know if this is true and has anyone done a conversion?

yes ratioes are differentt but it is much cheaper to go leader gears.

    I have a na and a tt basicly gear/speed iin the TT is 1st 70kmh 2nd 110kmh 3rd 160kmh 4th about 190kmh

    in the na 1st 60kmh 2nd 100kmh 3rd 150kmh 4th 180kmh.

With the na didd in the TT it will kind of feel like 3rd is 2nd and 2nd is 1st so I am told but your fuel consuption will be higher and your top speed will be cat rufly by 30kmh.

Also TT diffs have a stronger pinyon and are much stronger overall the conversion is a good idea but on hi HP applications say 500hp+ the na diff might not be able to handle it.

I have a whole rear NA subframe/diff/suspension and brakes if your interested pm me to work something out.

Yes, it is true and, they are different ratios(they also require their respective subframes to be changed over, if you wish to do a swap).

There are dozens of Z32 owners who have made the swap-over, try SEARCH for a real education.:zlove:

    Diff Parts

Yeah I have been looking at replacing the gears but I havnt had much luck in finding parts, Ive checkd some of the big online Aussie places with no luck. Any idea who could supply them in australia? I mite add mine is a strengthend auto, so its gotta be the diff.

Do you have a TT speed sensor?

If the NA speed sensor (or something by similar name/purpose) is in a TT or vice versa then the speed will be inaccurate... I think the figure was by around 10kms by the end of first gear... so that could be it

    OR

seeing as "it aint a stoka" do you have different final drive or gear ratios? because if you do than of course its different

Yes I have done this change over!

Is worth it? I think so definately:p . The difference in response, great, ask Chilli about his stint as psa:D :p . Strength, well the NA diff is a R200 which is used by many in high HP applications including Nissan with few problems. The other bonus is that the NA rear is lighter:D . To do the conversion you need the whole NA rear, there is a good video on here just use search. In a high HP appl. 500+hp a LSD change maybe the go. You need the NA speed sensor so the speedo will measure correctly, and as for cost. NA rears arent that expensive, mine cost $350 + plus $350 for the one piece tailshaft I had done (not really needed). Cheaper than the $1000+ plus instalation for the Leader Gears?
