BlaZt USB Interface cables allow you to access your Nissan ECU via your laptop computer using Nissan DataScan software.
With this system you will be able to scan for fault codes and clear them, both monitor and data log all 24 active Z32 sensors real time, accurately set TPS,perform a variety of active tests including a balance test(individually testing each cylinder), fuel pump cut and many other useful diagnostic tests.
The latest Nissan DataScan is the premium engine software for our cars and even includes graphing capabilities.

Pack includes a USB Interface cable, a mini CD with drivers, Install instructions, software and demo vids, a printout of Sensor specifications, Fault code identification and current Nissan DataScan functions. To date there is not a Nissan DataScan Manual available.

This will work on most 89-97 Nissans that have a Nissan ECU with an operating Nissan diagnostic port. Piggyback ecu's are fine as are re-chipped ECU's, it wont work with full aftermarket engine management systems as they aren't Nissan!

Does that datascan do a balance test automatically, ie you don't have to turn the cylinders off yourself one by one ?

Nissan DataScan doesnt perform the balance test automatically like Conzult no. You control the on/off of each cylinder.

The latest Nissan DataScan software is $49.90.
Conzult software is $255.00

What cable do you recommend? I've heard in the past that where possible, people should buy the Serial RS232 over USB?
