Like a lot of us, there comes a time when one must sell their zed. I always said I would never sell it, and I know I will regret it, but the car has been undriven since around September of last year, simply because I am using my wife's old run around, and I have baby number 3 on the way, and I am buying a block of land. So you do the math History: A genuine grade 4 import (i.e. better than average), imported by the infamous Zed specialist Geoff Risby of Perth and complianced in 2002. The first owner, a member of these forums, paid $37000 for it back then (!), with just 40,000km (genuine) on the clock. I purchased it six months later (56,000km on the clock), as the prevous owner was moving to NSW. I've owned it since 2003. This is not a cheap overboosted car, in reading the forums and looking at all the problems others have had, I've hardly had anything go wrong. This is the difference in buying a cheap car versus a well looked after car, and it drives perfectly. 1994 300ZX Twin Turbo 115,000km Pearl White, 2 seater with updated velour interior (interior in excellent condition) Manual transmission, Targa tops Polished stock Z rims Near new BF Goodrich tyres (at least 80% tread) Full custom exhaust, 3 inch mandrel bent dump pipes (stainless), high flow cats and resonators, 2.5 inch from the cats to 5zigen fireball cannons/mufflers. Its loud and sounds agressive, but comes with a pair of bolt on "quiet" mufflers too which will pass EPA tests, you can drive on them all the time if you want, they are not very restrictive. GFB Underdrive pulley Apexi Power Intake Platinum Spark Plugs HKS Turbo Timer 2x Blitz SS BOV's on hard pipes Momo leather steeringwheel (fully covered hub, one of the very few that are actually legal) Momo leather gear knob Apexi Boost gauge Upgraded heavy duty clutch and plate. Don't remember what the clutch was (Daikin?) but I know its a full face, which is nice and smooth. I had a 5 puck button clutch before it, it was auful. Brembo brake discs, Nissport brake pads. Braided stainless steel brake lines (ADR approved) New Master and Slave clutch cylinders, heavy duty clutch pivot (the old pivot broke, a somewhat common thing, so got the cylinders replaced at the same time) New rear infill panel Radiator Air Guide Viper Car Alarm Being a 1994 it does not have the ugly hydraulic HICAS in the engine bay etc Audio Alpine headunit, top of the line a few years ago. Powerful 4x50 watts, plays WMA and MP3. Alpine Splits in the doors (don't remember model, sorry) 6x9 speakers in the back (don't remember what these are either, they came with the car, probably some cheaper brand) Sansui 200W amplifier Also comes with a monstrous 15 inch sub and box, if you want it. Engine condition All mechanical work done by Joe at Nissport in Braeside, when they were still there... 100,000km service done about 50,000km ago. Was basically the first thing I got done when I got it. All the usual stuff done at the same time, like the rear main seal etc. No oil leaks anywhere. Also had the turbo's reconditioned at the same time. Car is running stock boost (9psi). I haven't had compression tested lately, but as of a couple of years ago, it was in the 140 - 150 range, very good compared to other zeds. Religious maintenance and oil changes, always used Amzoil 10-40 and Amzoil oversize filters Damage: Usual stone chips and some door dings, it is after all a 14 year old car, but nothing really noticeable, especially the stone chips since the paint is white. The front bar needs a respray as its missing some paint, and has a little gutter damage on the bottom. This was primarily caused by the previous owner who nudged something in a carpark. His dad, a pannel beater, resprayed the bar without reprepping it, so the paint has come off easier than it normally should. Rather than get it fixed I was wanting a 2000 spec bar eventually. There is also a small patch of paint on the rear bumper that has lifted a bit, caused by bird poo left there too long. The car has never been in an accident (at least while in Australia). Other notes This car has passed both the EPA noise and pollution tests early last year. This is what prompted me to get the resonators fitted and get interchangeable mufflers made, incase it ever needed to be tested again. So to pass, the only things you have to do is remove the BOV's and put back the stock pipes (the stock plum back valves are still fitted) and bolt on "quiet" mufflers. The mufflers can be fitted without a car jack. Car is in Berwick, Victoria, will ship interstate at buyers expense. I don't expect any problems with getting the RWC. COMES WITH REGO UNTIL JANUARY 2009 COMES WITH "ZEDXTT" PLATES Price $15990 negotiable PM me, or email me lazzar@spensh.net Mobile: 0411 955 555 John.
Airbag not standard on the '94 Airbags were not standard on the '94, but my car didn't have one fitted anyway.
I forgot to mention... The car comes with original Z floor mats, targa shades, and 350z pedals. There is limo tint on the back and the small corner windows, the doors have 25% tint. Also, the missile switch you see in the interior is currently not connected to anything.
i've seen this car around, a very good example of a zed thats been looked after not like the trash thats going around.
