Well done Allan I think it will look great with wider wheels. I do miss the front bar but not the clearance issues I had with driveways and speed humps though. BTW the bar is a Salt Flat Special Bonneville by D.Speed. Cheers Geoff
Cheers Geoff, clearance issues !. "Mmmm" lol, might have to go with some air-struts ! a bit like the old citreon's maybe !lift on (engine) start/lower on shutdown, with a manual over-ride switch as well to lift up when coming into driveways etc I was talking to a UK 300 member who has the front air-assist struts. so he can get on + off ferry daily ! he says the only downside is at about 120mph it gets a bit of a wander happening , nothing to bad. But he hasnt installed the rears as was a bit worried about camber issues. Cant do that speed (120mph) here on nsw roads to much, car will get confiscated :vomit: :vomit: . re bar name: Ha,ha,ha no wonder i couldnt find anything about that bar as i was searchin for D-Speed porsche 959 Z bar. lol I knew i had to have that bar as soon as i seen it forum !! I love the Mr2 clears with the red + the silver mesh should top it rite off when car gets put back together next week ! Shopping for the right wheels is a pain in the arse. Hopefully it should be finished soooon then i might have to sneak in on some of these cruises i keep hearing about.
obviously a ton of work has been done and big dollars spend... i have to say something just doesn't look right .. maybe its the loss of the rear bar lines or the brazilian with those lights... not my cup of tea. u know now your car will be tons heavier you will need some BIG TURBOSSSSS and some Huge wheels... think 12inch wide minimum found u some manly dished rims http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n65516848 or something like this ccc
Thanks ! heavier than the std poly-eurethane spoiler and rear bar ? Thanks for the link on the wheels. ALZ300
