mine looks like normal bulbs..nw i understand why there are hot spots..maybe i should buy the bulbs like the above pics..any other place i can replace these bulbs with..just to make use of them after i buy the new ones..

ye only problem with blue is that it will change ur red line to a purple line lol

I installed these today. They look good from what I can tell (its still daylight). But i also ordered the ones from Chads link and they arrived on my doorstep today so ill try them out as well.

 

Question, how many bulbs go in? where abouts is each bulb located? can i put a red one behind the redline, ive seen others have put white leds in and the redline is pink... i want all white, plus red redline.
What about the pods??? Ive seen someone here do them too and they looked amazing... i never new everything was supposed to light up on the pod lol... i knew all the buttons should....

 

I installed white in mine..it looks wicked..you can see the red lines clearly as well

 

Which ones did you try ? and did you have to do something special for the red lines?

 

ive done the side pods in red and blue,so has jedi and maybe a couple of others
Yes it does look great,but is a real pia job with soldering electronic components

 

I used the flower bulbs recommended by simon and chad..installed the four bulbs and looks great..

Yup sure..and btw ur dash area looks awsome mate..I also like to do the rest apart from the cluster..but dont know how to do it..

 

is there 3mm LEDs for the pods that have built in resistors?

not that i know of,you have to solder them in and adapt them onto the original bulb holders

 

Can you get the t5 bulb? or are they still too big ?

where can i get these bulbs from?

was going to do a search on ebay but not quite sure what i'm looking for.

i'm chasing led bulbs as direct replacements in the instrument cluster and hoping for a white look to go with my gauges.

would also be interested in the side pods too i guess.

so need to know what bulb type i'm looking for in an led

and

how many i need for the instrument cluster and side pods.
