Hi all, i have 6 Electronic Gauges to fit to my car. Oil Temp Oil Press Water Temp Volts Vaccum Boost I would love to learne how to do it, and so i'd like to see who would be keen on commin over and givin me a hand. I will supply beers and a mad BBQ (im known for my bbqs) to anyone that comes along. Anyone willing to come and just watch, or meet some people are welcom too... This is just an expression of intrest to see who can give me a hand, and who will come to watch or chill out or what ever, befor i give out date/time/place. Thanks!:zlove:
have you had a read of some tech articles and thought about installing them yourself? they aren't very hard to do. all you need are all the adaptors and other little things (T-pieces, vacuum lines, sensor adaptors, etc). if you really need a hand and if you plan a proper tech day (date, time, tools available) and if you have all the necessary parts to install all your gauges, I don't have any doubts that some vic members would love to come down and give you a hand, me included. ps. there's nothing worse than installing something in your car, figuring out you haven't got all the parts, then going to aurobarn or supercheap and loosing 30 minutes in valuable working/drinking beers time.
nothing worse than say 3 or 4 trips in a day to autobarn especially i'd be keen for this urhyns. Just depends when i have time off etc. Have this monday tues off then working 9 days straight then i think i have a weekend. Would love to come as i have 3 to install too (water temp, oil pressure n fuel pressure)
Who would be foolish enough to do that though? I could well be interested in this too, just depends on what free time I have.
i reckon to fit all those gauges and not have to go out and get something would be a miricale , lol .
Throw up a date . . . I still have to connect the oil pressure sensor and the temperature sensor to my three-set. Gauges are installed (voltmeter connected) just the sensors to fit and wire up! BBQ . . . Mmmmmmmmmmmm!! If it starts with "Food", I'll eat it!
27th is out... working. What about the next weekend (4th)? And we don't need a garage as long as the weather is fine.
hey i will have my daughter that weekend does everyone wanna come to my place for the techday in thomastown so i can still spend time with her aswell? so on the 4th the tech day can be here if you all want to come down otherwise i wont be able to come enough room to work on about 4-5 cars at a time
yep thats mine i still need to connect one of my gauges so this would be a good chance to do it but i can only come to the tech day if its at my place
wtf? I assume you mean Chris' plates in his sig. pic? Don't thing he'd wanna part with them...especially being a romanian and all (not sure if that has any relevance but i felt it necessary to add that ) so are we sure we can't have this on the 3rd? I'm not available on the 4th
i don't think i'll make it to this one. seems like i'll be too busy working on my car for once and yeah, what evan said...plates aren't for sale.
