Hi chaps. Its been a while since I last said hi. I sold my 300zx last december and I bought a BMW E46 323i. Anyway The guy that bought it couldnt handle it so this week (Tuesday) he asked me if I wanted it back. "Yes please" So I have it back now and am well pleased with myself. I still have the beemer and TBH its a great car I spent 800 quid on the wheels and another 300 quid on a stereo system with Bluetooth hands free. The bloke hasnt touched the 300 and so is more or less exactly how it was when I sold it. I just thought I would share this with you lot down there. Vini

Hi. Yes I did. I had a deal with him for my bike and my 300zx which came to around 6K (I valued the bike at 2500) and I got the car back for 2K so about 1500. All that has happened to the car is he has put around 1300 miles on the clock. So I did really well out of it. He has scuffed one of the front rims too but its minimal and can be made good with minimum effort. OH! and the car is bloody filthy. I am thinking about having the whole car done in red and loose the black????
That has crossed my mind mate but TBH it would be a much bigger job to do and the way these cars are loosing value over here that much expense would be out of the question. AND! Black is a lovely colour but it shows up all the little inperfections in the body and there are a few little dents and minor warping on the larger panels. Red is a great colour for hiding these. IMO.

THe N/A is making upwards of about 1000 pounds now a days. A half decent TT upwards of about 1500 pounds Not sure how your Dollars convert but I think they are around half a quid??? wow thats sooo cheep. 2.4 aussie $ to the quid is usually the safest guide. Swings either side of that pretty consitently. Thats FREE compared to what we pay over here. An NA Auto will cost you between $8K and $10K (4.2K ish in quids)depending on condition. TT's are anywhere between $10K and mmmmmm well its a black art lol..... really depends on mods and condition. I paid $15K (6.5K quid) for mine (has T28's, Pod, FMIC, and a whole list of.....querks lol... but the engine is good and has been very reliable thus far....oh except the shit compression... anyway.....) (the above is assuming 89 models and there abouts) So yeah... uve got it VERY cheep over there man. But its your euro brands that make my mates cry.... I've seen good, 199x model Audi A4's for sale on UK Auto Trader for like 1.6K quid. They are a FORTUNE over here lol. Think i'll end up renting though for my holiday realistically..... Anywhere rent Zeds out? lol

Worth looking into but don't forget they pay something like 3x our fuel prices so if you're planning on doing a lot of k's on yr hol then it could balance out.
or i buy one... and have a zed in Oz and a zed in the UK (at my parents place) for every time I trip over Oh... to dream...... If i didn't have to Pay raod tax and MOT on one in UK.... id do that for sure oh and insurance...... damn forgot that MUCH cheeper to just rent.
The cars are getting cheaper no doubt but the mods are still very costly?? My son just bought a 2000 ("X" reg'd here) Lexus is200 S in silver nice car in and out 104000 miles on the clock a bit of history 3600 pounds. What sort of dollars would that cost over there?
